Ground Transportation advice

We are going to a convention that will be at the Orlando World Center Marriott from June 28 until July 4th (5ppl). One member of our party will be need transportation on June 30 from MCO to the Marriott. Then entire group will then be moving to BWV on July 4th. I know we can take DME back to the airport on July 9th. Other then renting a car for $330 plus tax(for 7 days) and paying $14 a day parking at the Marriott what would be the other suggestions for ground transportation???

I think I would have the person taking the MCO-Marriot trip use a shuttle - Mears should be an option and the resort may have a complimentary one.

As far as the rest of the group, I don't think there is a better choice than renting a car. Taxis are expensive and probably more than the cost of the car including parking.

I was hoping for a cheaper option. $400+ is not in the budget. Especially for a car we won't be using during the conference. I'll keep searching though. There is a mears shuttle but not a complementary one from the hotel.

Can you rent a car for two single days, the first and last of the conference? Only one person would have to worry about fetching and returning it.

i think I found a solution. Limo MCO to Marriott then Limo from Marriott to BWV. I'lll take mears midweek to get from MCO to Marriott. We need a bit van anyway to transport equipment for the conference. Thanks for the help
