Grosvenor Ressie - Can this be right?

I just booked 3 nights at the Grosvenor Resort for my in-laws and I got a Superior Tower Room: Disney View for a TOTAL of $350.11 (with tax).

Such a low price actually makes me nervous (guess I'm used to Disney prices). Any good reviews to make me feel better?

P.S. I've just read some reviews on TripAdvisor.com and now I'm REALLY nervous. I think I'll just let the reservation stand until something else comes along and then may cancel. The reviews of the Hilton weren't so sparkling either!

For those 59 folks who were checking in - I cancelled Grosvenor and booked Port Orleans French Quarter for $155/night. I've learned in the past if you cheap out, you usually regret it in a big way.

Plus you wouldn't want My mother-in-law unhappy with a hotel room that YOU chose!

And that's that!

I know what you mean about your MIL, LOL! My brother and his wife stayed at the Grosvenor about 3 years ago thru a Priceline reservation (about $35/night) and they liked it for the price they paid, but said they would not consider it a good value at rack rate. The price difference between the two is so small, that I'd definitely choose the sure thing too.

Paid $55 a night there and I felt ripped off. They will be much happier at FQ.

I don't actually think that's a strangely low price. Sorry! I've noticed that the prices on trip advisor are often a lot higher than the rate you can get rooms at. I think a lot of the time this is cos of business travellers (noticed that from bueuna vista palace, was wyndham when we were there).

Whatever happens make out your havin the best time in the world and you might just be able to convince MIL. I've done it with my parents before, u can never be too enthusiastic and if it makes them smile...
