Grosvenor Resort, the good, bad & ugly bring it on please

I have a short stay 2 nights on a weekend next weekend at the Grosvenor Resort. Of course I will have to make the best of it no matter what. I got it on priceline. I love the location though. But I usually stay at the Doubletree Club not available for the price I got. Just a cheap weekend.

So bring on the comments & keep them coming no matter what they are please.

I've posted in several threads about the Grosvenor lately. I did a search and hope my links work.

I'll be back there this Wednesday for 7 nights and I'm looking forward to my stay. We have 2 rooms reserved.

The Good- Beautiful and quiet lobby. Clean pool and beautiful landscaping. Great room views.
The Bad- Shaky and noisy elevators with no A/C. Dark corridors and low overhead pathways.
The Ugly- One hour or more wait for bus transportation. Dirty and stained carpet outside hotel rooms on the walkways for outside rooms(not in the tower).

Overall, its a bit expensive for what you really pay for.

We loved it in January and won't stay anywhere else now. My SO has stayed in several top of the line to middle of the road Disney Magic resorts and he prefers the Grosvener. It was my first time to WDW, so I had no comparison to other Disney places.

I loved being able to walk to Pleasure Island and the Marketplace and found the Bus transportation to be extremely timely and efficient. Could have been the time of year though, too.

I don't have any bad things to say about the hotel other than maybe they forgot to let me come back for free the next time !
