Grosvenor and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Hi:

We have been thinking of flying down to Disney for a quick weekend trip to see Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We have found a pretty good deal (I think) for airfare and hotel. The hotel is the Grosvenor Resort.
I have two questions....Any opinions on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (Great, Good, Would Not Miss It, etc...) Also, Anyone ever stayed at the Grosvenor? How is that resort.

Because it will only be two nights we are there, I would like to hear some feedback to see if this will be worth the money (especially around the holidays).

Have not been to the party but sis has and really enjoyed it.

Have stayed at Grosvenor and will never return. Any other options ?

I have been to the party and would put as a not be missed item. Personally, I have never stayed at the Grosvenor but have head only negitive about it. I would check mousesavers.com and see if you can find anything else.

No way will I ever stay at Grosvenor again!! sorry to tell you but it was nasty, nasty, nasty.... I bet you can find something on property as cheap... a value is a much better bet. MVMCP is the best!!!

DON'T STAY AT THE GROSVENOR. This place is in serious need of refurbishment.
