Grossest Thing You've Seen at the Parks

You know, besides the overzealous PDA couple on the TTA, does anyone else try to spice up their marriage in Disney? I mean there are tons of people on Disneymoons in those fancy suites; I wonder if anyone ever gets "a little noisy" and if you do, does Disney come-a-knockin?:rotfl:

When we stayed at the Poly in 2005, DD was 2 at the time....she woke up around 1 in the morning, and to keep her from waking up everyone else, and get her to go back to sleep, I put her in her stroller and headed out for a walk. As we were walking down buy the beach, I saw a couple in a hammock all covered up...not sure exactly how "cozy" they were, I just headed up another path. It WAS December, so they could have just been under the blanket to stay warm, but I wasn't gonna stick around and find out.

I saw several very disturbing things.

I have a very close friend who is a CM (he is an actor in the Nemo show). He took me backstage and underground.

I saw Minnie walking around without her costume head. It was a guy in the costume. I was crushed.

Then he took me to his room where they were letting him live and I saw Belle walking around with a cigarette and drinking a beer out of the bottle. She was a little on the wild side.

I saw other things, but it would be going into the rated R category.

Let's just say I will never look at the characters the same way again.

They call it backstage for a reason.

I'd love to share some of the things I've seen but this is a family board and I'd get a big glass of bannination for my troubles. I'm sure most everybody has seen the risque picture of Minnie getting fresh with a couple of other characters.

Hmmm, they don't allow smoking in the utiladores. just outside backstage. No non-employee is allow there except in tour or escorted. Alcohol would simply get the CM terminated. Where was your friend living in the Magic Kindgom?
I also understand that the CM's in costume are in a special area when getting "fresh air" that no one, except them and the assistants are allowed.

Interesting.

I grossest would be my dd sucking down a Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake (which is gross in itself) & then throwing it all up right in front of Fantasmic and having to have her sit on my lap through the whole show and smell it!!!!!!

Awww... i may not be a fan of this either but they don't do it because they think they are teenagers. They do it because it is custom in their countries. It is taboo in America to wear a speedo as a male but in other countries it is the normal thing.

So true. I was at the beach once and a whole family "unleashed their wares" so to speak. They were from sweden or something like that based on the accents. I was young (20ish) and totally grossed out.

If your daughter was sick, why did you sit through the entire show? Or not alert a CM so they could clean it up?

I have puke-phobia, and luckily I haven't witnessed any in any of my trips (I'm sure that'll change eventually), but if anyone around me was sick, I'd get up and leave.

When at POR in 2006, you could hear one couple having relations and they were LOUD! They were in the room next door. My sister and I cracked up. At least it only lasted all of 5 minutes!

You always hear that POR is considered one of the more "romantic" resorts. Guess there's something to that.

And the winner is Grumpy Pirate. You are good. You figured my story was a fake, and now for the real prize. How many of my other stories were real or fake?

I'm not a liar, I just play one on T.V.

Yeah...your story had some obvious holes in it. The beer was a tip-off for me. But you WOULD see people smoking (outside though) and it's possible for a short dude to be in a Minnie costume.

I don't know which previous posts were yours. But did you post the one about people dipping their baby's bottles in the water on rides like pirates and filling them? Because that one sounded made up to me.

So did the guy dipping his hot dog in his belly button.

Either of those your creations?

I don't know about the rest, but the one about the baby bottles was Buzz Lightbeer, a CM. He usually has lots of good info, not one to make things up:confused3

Yep. Let's get back to discussing magic nose goblins (see OP), picking off dead skin, urinating in public (including, gasp, a grown man taking a pee on top of the slide at the Poly pool...), protein spills (projectile or oozing between teeth and running down the chin), where to clean "bare pendular teets", men who eat hot dog saugages dipped in naval salt, changing poopy diapers on CS tables (or in full view of diners at Chefs de France), socks falling out of pant legs (my favorite), floating "chocolate" in any resort pool, people who use cleavage as a cup holder (or cell phone holder or pickle holder), people popping each other's pimples, letting your 3 yo. son run naked in the fountain at EPCOT, filling a baby bottle with water from any attraction (SpM, IASW, PotC or JC), anyone who rides MS or ToT immediately after eating, no deoderant in August, everything about post #206, full frontal body-to-body kissing (esp with substantially younger persons), and, of course, the pink candied Cinderella's Castle.

The current discussion has gotten way too esoterical and high-brow. Let's get it back down to an acceptable level.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: It's one thing to read this thread, quite another to MEMORIZE IT! This is not a healthy hobby, my friend

Let me start this post with this warning. For those that are unaware of it, any ride that is "in the dark" at WDW has nightvision cameras for safety, and a CM somewhere is watching those screens, so they can see you and what you think you're getting away with.

A friend of mine who worked at the TTA while I was a CM told me this story. While she was watching the cameras, she saw a woman, how should I put this, "giving her husband an extra special kiss". She made an annoucement over the ride's speakers that there were cameras in the dark zones, and the woman quickly stopped. My friend called security and they were waiting to take the couple on their merry way when they finished their ride.

Over zealous PDA aside, who would think that "THAT" is ok anywhere in public, much less a family theme park?

Protein Spill!!!! :rotfl: Oh, no, really, that was so bad of me. Lord, forgive me...

eh. still sounds made up to me. i know a lot of stupid people out there but i still find it hard to believe someone would think that water is suitable for drinking. :confused3

Man, I love how fast the baloney is outed on this board...:wizard:

Back now to my regularly scheduled programming. This still is almost my all time favorite thread...

I was a CM too, and I have to second Buzz on that one. People are that stupid at least at Disney. I have seen someone try to drink water from the rides, because it was "free". He was also under the impression that you have to put quarters in the water fountains.

There is a running joke, that when you put your fingers in the scanner at the front gate, it sends an electrical signal up to your brain that gives you temporary stupidity. That way you'll spend all this money in one day and not realize it until you get home and the "stupid ray" has worn off.

We CMs and former CMs have seen guests do things that you wouldn't believe. You would think that no one could every be that dumb or crass, but it happens every day. Sometimes I wondered how some people had managed to live to adulthood with how insanely idiotic their actions at Disney were.

OMG - surely no one thinks idiocy is limited to "actions at Disney." If you need proof, see http://www.darwinawards.com/

Disney just concentrates the idiocy so the masses can enjoy it.

When me and my Dh went on our honeymoon. When we were at Blizzard Beach. Walking to the pool we passed a woman with her whole family. SHe was wearing shorts and a bra for her swim top. She was wet so she had been in the pool already. We were shocked. This wasn't a nicely padded bra, but a thinly made one. It was bizarre to say the least. Her and her family didn't seem to think this was odd at all.
