What should the groomsmen (and some of their wives) do while the bridal party is at the spa? The Disney Golf Courses are full and the Richard Petty experience is too expensive. Any ideas?

I'm not sure how many people you are talking about, or what your limit is on cost...but the Segway Around the World tour is really cool.

Its a two hour Segway tour through World Showcase at Epcot (one hour of training, and one hour out and about in WS). One tour starts at 8:30 am, and one tour starts at 9:30 am. Each tour allows 10 people. The cost is $80 per person but you can get discounts with AAA, Disney Visa, or an AP.

You might also ask your EM for suggestions...I'm sure there are plenty of things that could be planned!!!

my fh is going with his guys on a bay lake fishing excursion its like $225 for 5 (5 people is the limit for the excursion though) & then to epcot for the biergarten in germany for lunch & drinks, its a buffet so its like $17pp plus beer. the biergarten is great for larger groups, good food & fun entertainment.

while me & my girls & our moms go to the spa & lunch at cinderellas royal table at mk.

Another fun thing is Disney Quest at Downtown Disney, especially if they like video games. My DFH and his buddies can spend hours there. :confused3

I came up with mini-golf in the car. The non-fantasy one at Fantasia Gardens is *really* tough, too! BIL is in school to be a PGA teaching (and, fingers-corssed, tour playing) professional and even he was at his wit's end with some of it!

Are you sure all of the coures are booked? Even the shorter 9-hole skins course? I have some contact numbers for group golf outings, maybe they can pull a few strings. PM me if you'd like that cofntact information.

I spoke to Mike in the Golf group reservations department and he said that they had a tournament that weekend and all of the courses were full. However, he said that one tournament might cancel and if they do, he will get us on! If not, I appreciate all of the suggestions, we are trying to accomadate about 20 guys.

I may have a mad hatter tea for my maids and women in the family, my fiance and his pals are planning to have beer around the world in EPCOT. He is looking forward to it.

DISNEY QUEST. It is like an arcade for grown-ups; a lot of 3-D and virtual reality, including a design and ride your own roller coaster. Check it out on the Disney web-site, the price isn't too bad, definitly cheaper than golf. Also, it's in Downtown Disney so they should be able to find some drinks in the vicinity. :teeth:

what? orlando area 'adult' entertainment is not an option?
j/k

disney quest and house of blues if there's live entertainment.

Hubby loved the Segway Tour, but that starts bright and early (i.e. before Epcot World Showcase Opens). I'd say the Putt-Putt course, Disney Quest is fun - but could be too kiddie. What about one of the fishing excursions or parasailing on Bay Lake?
