I just ordered the Bride and Groom ear hats from Disneystore.com. My package shipped, and today I got an email that the Groom ears went out of stock and I won't get any. This is (or was supposed to be) a Christmas gift for my brother and his fiancee, they are getting married in January. Has anyone seen the groom ears at the parks recently? I guess we can get them once we arrive. I just wish they would've said something before they sent the bride ones!

I was there last weekend and there were plenty of Groom ears. I would try calling Disney Merchandising and they may be able to send them to you directly from the parks.

Exactly what I was going to suggest.

Thanks for the quick answers. I didn't even know about merchandising til you both mentioned it and I googled for info. :) But, if they can't send it or it won't arrive in time, it's good to know that there's not a shortage at the parks!

Which one did you try to order the ears with the small top hat with the tuxedo look on the hat? If thats the one you want, I was at the park this past week too and saw plenty of them. But if you are looking for the all black large top hat with ears($99), Ive had trouble finding them too.

Yes, the tuxedo ones.

Thanks for letting me know you spotted them! The bride ones I ordered arrived last night. Can't wait for their big day!!

Just got back from my wedding/honeymoon, and rest assured that the ears are everywhere! They have the groom tuxedo ears, as well as the bride hat and the bride headband. I stayed at GF and they had them at the Sandy Cove gift shop (although I had to find the bride headband at the upstairs gift shop). Don't worry! :)

Those are discontinued. But if you have a pair of scissors you can make them yourself.

Bigheaded people like myself and groom can't fit into regular Adult earhats. I tracked down an inexpensive top hat from a costume shop, made two slices on either side, chopped up a plain earhat leaving some fabric flaps on each side, slipped in the ears and 'surgically' attached the flaps inside, with double sided tape. Voila! Top hat groom ears. Worked a charm! I wore the headband sequined bride ears for some after ceremony photos and at the entrace to our reception. We don't have any photos of his tophat ears unfortunately, until the professional ones come back. But I'm attaching some images of our baseball caps.

I did the same surgical procedure with two additional sets of ear hats on plain Bride and Groom baseball caps. His were plain back again. But for mine, I used the Princess princess: ears (pink hat, silver ears, with tiara and veil), making a third slice in the hat to slip in the veil, then at groom's suggestion, I stitched on the tiara. It was a little sad to butcher three new and perfectly lovely earhats, but the end result was worth it. And now that I can do this neat hat trick :wizard:, I can reuse the same plastic ears. I see many custom caps in our future...

We got a lot of compliments and questions from castmembers about them. Here is Aurora admiring mine.
