I am looking for ideas of something Disney related to give my DF on our wedding day. I have already given him mickey mouse cufflinks for his birthday and I bought him a tie and he has the vest and tie for the wedding. He bought himself a mickey mouse watch. So I am fresh out of ideas. Anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.

Oh, could you buy him some Disney Diamond earrings. Maybe in the 1 carat range so 1/2 carat each ear. Oh wait you say he does not wear an earring -- oh well do the only thing you can do -- You wear them for him :).

I like my plan even if it is a bit selfish. But I know never gonna happen :). Just being silly.

I have no ideas :(. Let us know what you decide on

Just a thought - but what about a disney collectible or artwork item from the Art of Disney. Something that would be appropriate for him or the both of you as a couple.

:rotfl: This sounds like a promising idea to me!!!

I'm thinking of getting my Mr a pocket watch as his wedding gift and getting it engraved, maybe something like that? :confused3
it sure is difficult picking out such important gifts

I love this too - where do you go about getting this?

I really like the art work idea. We just got back from our planning session and there was this panting of Mickey proposing to Minnie in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background in the Art of Disney stores. DF proposed to me at the Eiffel tower so we HAD to have it. I was surprised that he bought it (he isn't in to Disney as much as I am) but he just thought it had so much meaning for us.

What about surprising him with an activity? I am big on giving gifts that are things we can do together. Perhaps a couples massage, a special behind the scene tour like the Segway around the world tour in Epcot, a fireworks cruise etc. etc.

Maybe a surprise at the wedding if you have room in the budget? I am trying to surprise DF with a set of characters

My DF is a Nascar fan so I am getting him tickets for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. So he can drive around in a race car.

Dh is not a Nascar fan but I bought him the Driving Experience for our Anniversary and he loved it. That is all he talks about. I could not believe he would enjoy it as much as he did. I highly recommend it.

Check oneshare.com

I think that's what I'm doing.

Did you go with him and take pictures or is it a pretty long day for me to tag along??

You could also do tickets to La Nouba. We were crunched for time the week of our wedding, so I saved that for DH's birthday this week and we're seeing it in Sept when we go back for free dining.

We actually didn't end up doing gifts at all, but each got something nice that week for ourselves (DH got a watch and I got a silver mickey head bracelet I'm wearing right now) and we got a really nice replica castle for our house - which I still owe pictures of in my TR... :headache: :scared: :surfweb:

I tagged along, but it is a long day. It depends on what package you get, but it is still long. The facility is not too big and has a small gift shop. We were there for a while. They did let me take alot of pictures. They also have a photographer who will take a photo while he is in the car. I guess I didn't have to go, but felt I should. He wants to do it again, but I will probably still go with him. If he does the driving he will get a certificate and you can also buy the DVD of if.
