We have to split our stay in Feb between VWL & BCV. I know Bell Services will transfer our luggage to BCV after I check out of VWL but will they store/transfer the perishable groceries that I have packed up? I keep reading about refrigerators at the resorts and am hoping they will accommodate milk/lunch meat.

Has anyone ever done this?

I don't think I would chance it.

Unless someone knows for sure that the transfer vehicles have regfrigerated sections and none of the luggage sits for any length of time, it just isn't worth it.

Rather than chance getting sick, I'd buy just enough perishables to last for the VWL trip and then just buy any additional perishables at the BCV store. A few dollars more than a grocery at home is a small price to pay compared to getting sick on vacation.

JMHO. YMMV.

I completely agree with Carol that there is too much risk involved with someone else being resposible for your perishables. Heck, I can't even get the men in my house to put the milk away half the time, so I sure as heck wouldn't be comfortable with complete strangers in charge of that stuff. The only way I would have perishables transferred is if I packed them myself in a cooler.

Hi
You can take your perishables with you yourself to the BCV and that way you can have them store it for you till your room is ready. We did that a few years ago.:thumbsup2
