Grocery Store Deliveries

Which grocery stores will deliver to the DVC resorts? I believe Goodings does, but they are very expensive. Does anyone know if Publix does? How does this work? Are the groceries delivered to your room or do we have to pick them up in the lodge? Do we have to be present when the arrive, or will a CM put them in our room? Thanks!

I don't know about delivery - but Albertsons - if you call them then fax your grocery list will have all your groceries bagged and ready to pick up - here is the info - hope it helps

You can get a list at the DVC Member site for each resort. They will stock your room before check-in. It cost a bit more but it will save you over eating out all the time. I usually plan 1 to 2 meals a day in the room to save money. I don't believe the publix will deliver but I could be wrong.

They do offer the list spoken of from MS to have groceries stocked in your Vacation home before you arrive but the list is only of things you can get at the General store right in the resorts from what I remember and it was very limited. If anyone has info. on what regular grocery stores will deliver, I'd be interested as well.
