I printed the faxable grocery list for OKW. Are these same items available in the general store?

All they do is pull them from the shelf downstairs in the store. I used the service the last time and frankly, I think it's easier to do it yourself. It took them until 6:00 (after two calls, starting at 4:30 ). I had faxed the order down 3 days in advance! I was really a little disappointed. The kids wanted cereal and were starved! I could have done it myself and saved the delivery charge.

Thanks, that's what I suspected. It would probably take me longer to learn how to use the fax on my computer than it would to just get the stuff myself.

I think it's worthwhile when you know you are coming in late, or may come in late. We faxed our grocery list to OKW two days before going down. We got delayed by a storm and missed our connecting flight. By the time we arrived, the general store was closed. Boy, were we happy to see milk, cereal, and fruit already in our unit for the next morning.

If you have your own car/rental car or taking a towncar service with a grocery store stop, stopping at an off site grocery store--and there are plenty of grocery stores very close to WDW--will give you a much better variety of foods at much better prices than the stores at WDW resorts.
