Grocery Delivery?

DD is in the CP right now and I wondered if anyone has had any experience or advice on ordering groceries to be delivered to the apartments? We've used a couple of these services when staying at WDW and I wondered if any of the CPers use them as well? Do the groceries get delivered right to apartment? Or are the drivers only allowed as far as the security gate? Any insight and information is greatly appreciated. Oh! For those who HAVE used grocery delivery services, do you need a credit card or can you pay in cash?

I haven't heard of anyone getting groceries delivered ((or even what that is)), but ordering a pizza or something, drivers are allowed only to the gate, so we have to walk there to get it.

With the exception of FedEx and UPS, all delivery services need to be claimed at the Security Gate of each of the Housing Complexes.

However, if you purchase your Disney College Program Participant a Gift Basket through the Disney Floral and Gifts service (a service of the Walt Disney World Floral and Gift Baskets Department), the Cast Member delivering the package should be able to deliver it straight to their door as well.

I was in the college program fall advantage 2009 and when it comes to grocery shopping thier is a cp bus that will take you to publix and walmart and then pick you up like around 45 min later. it will take you to your housing complex and drop you off. It is a pain to carry them if you buy a large amount trust me. So a lot of people would take the roll luggage. You can have food delivered but you have to meet them at the front gate. They are not allowed in.

Thank you everyone for your help! lrcavazos14283, you're right about it being a pain to shop via the bus since you can't always buy as much as you wanted. Great idea about the rolling luggage. I was thinking about one of those folding shopping carts as an option.
