Is there another place to do the grocery deliver besides Garden Grocer? It says minimum of $40 needs to spent and I don't need that much stuff! TIA!

You can try www.wegoshop.com She may do a smaller order, and I believe goodings (www.goodings.com) also delivers, but I'm not sure what their minimum is.... Have you considered getting a few cases of water to "bulk" up your order??? I'm not sure how much luck you'll have finding someone that delivers a less than $40 order....some towncar services will do a 30 minute grocery stop if you hire them for the transfer from the airport.

I used netgrocer.com and they did not have a minimum and I shipped $45 worth of stuff for less than $10. It is shipped fedex and will be waiting for us when we arrive.

Just try to get over $40.00, ; Water is the best way to save money.

Water. Granola bars. Peanut butter. Bagels. Not $40! So I added...more water, some bananas, Starbucks frappuccino (4) for my friend, Sugar Free Red Bull (4) for me!!! Grand total was $40.39 lol!!

Funny...after my wife added her items to the order, we had no problems passing $40. Fruit, cereal, snacks, water, coffee, milk.....it all adds up pretty quickly.

Call the resort, let them know that you will be staying and need the shipping address to have something shipped to you.

I used the service called We Go Shop (the website is in an earlier post or googling will get you right to it) when we stayed at Saratoga Springs for a week. The only disadvantage is that you do have to be in your unit to accept and pay for the delivery. However, the delivery is BY APPOINTMENT, so that's not so terrible. I went online to the Publix sale flyer for the week and made my shopping list, including the weekly specials. Marge Peck was incredible - she even went to bat for substitutions if the specials were sold out! Shops just like I would have. You can do all your menu planning, sit back and relax until she rings your doorbell with your groceries. There is a delivery fee, I think it was $25, but far less than renting a car, much less hassle, and very economical food prices (water, too)! I called her on my cell phone when we landed at the airport, then confirmed I was in the unit, gave her the unit number, and she was there within 20 minutes of our appointment time, even calling to let me know she was running a little late. I will use them again anytime I want to shop like a local!

If you order and have it shipped/delivered to your resort (we'll be at SOG) does it get there before you arrive? How do you arrange to get it picked up?

Of course, if we drive rather than fly, I'll just load our souvenirs suitcase up with water/non-perishables and bring it all from home. But if we fly, this whole grocery delivery thing is brilliant!!!
