You used to be able to do Albertson's too... not sure if you still can--Albertson's up here is stopping delivery.

I don't think there is a drugstore type place within easy walking distance--but Target is fairly close... someone else should be able to answer that better.

Albertsons stopped delivery everywhere as of 2 days ago. :-( When I received the e-mail from them about the service being stopped, I called to see if it was just in my area or everywhere, and unfortunately, they confirmed that it was everywhere.

You could take the 460 to Buena Park and it is like $2.50 and stops at Knott's Berry Farm. Along the way you can get off and go to Wal-Mart, Albertson's and Buena Park Mall. There are other buses out there that go buy groceries.

Vons delivers. We had them deliver to GCH last year--water, juice, milk, fruit, cereal, cheese, crackers, etc. plus paper towels and plastic spoons. We asked for delivery within the hour and a half just before we expected to arrive. The bell desk held the order for us-- it was tightly packed in a cardboard box, so the refrigerated items stayed cold. It worked well. You order online with a credit card, using the hotel's address as the delivery address. Call the hotel's guest services a few days before, and let them know you are expecting groceries.

There are also some items for sale in Whitewater snacks and in the gift shop in the lobby-- milk, juice, pastries, etc. Of course, they're priced a bit higher, like a convenience store. We especially liked Whitewater snacks for fresh, cut-up fruit and veggies-- it is a great little cafeteria.
