What is a good grocery store near Disneyland to have groceries delivered from ?

Every major chain in the area has a store near DLR and they all deliver. Check your hotel’s policy - some will hold at the front desk (sometimes for a fee), others require you to e present to accept the delivery and a few don’t allow it at all (although you can meet your driver nearby).

Walmart and Albertsons/Vons deliver direct. Ralph’s (Kroger), Target, El Super, Whole Foods, etc. use Instacart and Shipt.

The big chains typically omit some sale pricing on heavy loss leaders designed to get you into the store , like soda, which is why most people go with Walmart.

Can I use Doordash for Disneyland Hotel? Also what about ordering wine or beer to be delivered. How does that work? I have never used a delivery service before but we will be staying for 6 nights and will need some basics. After you order about how long would it be until they deliver? Any other tips about this? TIA

My suggestion would be to contact your hotel for the latest policies, as they seem to be ever changing.

Disney hotels accept all food and grocery delivery services. I believe for hot food, you need to accept the delivery but for groceries, they will hold at the front desk.

Alcohol can be delivered but policies differ from vendor. Last I heard, if you order alcohol from Walmart you will need to meet the driver (ID must match the name on order) otherwise your entire order will be returned.

I stand by my suggestion to go to Food4Less. It’s a 20 minute walk from the villas, with half the walk running alongside the DLR (you can see the hotels from F4L). Order a pickup and wheel it back to your room in a suitcase (can’t bring it in the store so one person will stand outside while the other retrieves the order). Much less of a hassle, especially since you never really know when Walmart shows up.

When you say Disney accepts all food and grocery; can I tell my instacart order to be delivered to "bell services" and this is OK: it's just water and non alcoholic drinks. DCG bell services will hold onto these few items? I'm just questioning if I have to navigate timing of this delivery for me to be present: or can it be delivered to bell services and I pick up when I'm back at the hotel?

We were just there a month ago, and set up an Instacart order for delivery to Bell Services, as we were arriving really late at night. I had called the hotel first, and they said it was fine, as long as there was no alcohol. The only down side was having to wait about 10 minutes for someone to get the order when we arrived, as it was about 11:00pm, and Bell Services wasn't staffed then. It was totally fine - I just sent my husband and kids to the room and waited for the order in the lobby.

You need be present only if alcohol was ordered, so it won’t be an issue. Disney will also handle cold/ frozen storage.
