Groceries for the single guy/gal

I am in college so I am cooking only for myself right now. I spend between $40-$50/week depnding on what I need.
I do a mix of frozen/quick fix and actual cooked meals.
I shop at Whole Foods and target (sometimes trader joes or albertsons is 100% necessary)

My go to meals are:

baked ziti (pasta, cheese and sauce)- sometimes I add some ground beef if it is on sale-- usually lasts 3 to 4 meals depending on how much I make
chicken fajitas (1/2 lb of chicken, peppers and onions- usually lasts me 2 to 2 meals)
tacos (1/4 lb of ground beef, tomato, lettuce, salsa--usually lasts me 3 meals)
shepherds pie (ground beef or turkey, potatos, onion, carrots, peas, gravy--usually freeze half and it could last for like 8 meals)
grilled chicken w/ veggies
pasta w/ meat sauce
pasta w/ sauted veggies
tuna casserole

For sides, I always make a salad at the beginning of the week and eat it throughout w/ meals. I also have carrots, peppers and tomatos to snack on.

And I have a lot of fruit. Our whole foods has great deals. I got strawberries, oranges and grapes this week for about $8 total

I also always have some basic staples on hand as well:
frozen chicken tenders (I have a chicken tender addiction)
tuna
mac and cheese
canned veggies (corn, green beans, peas)
oatmeal
soup

However, I don't eat a lot. I have a fairly small appetite. Yesertday I had:
lunch- chobani yogurt, tomatos w/ hummus and an orange
dinner- 1 taco and some grapes
snack- 4 mini choc chip cookies

So meals last me a long time (longer than most)
