Gripe!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, as some of yu may know we are trying to send my FIL down to West Palm Beach later this month.... I am in charge of the airfare portion and 2 weeks ago when all this came up I found great deals on a nonstop to West Palm... something like 126 RT.... My BIL still hadnt cleared his mom for a respite nursing home care so my FIL could go.... Said he would know the next day....

Flash ahead two weeks.....

SO today he calls and tells me he should know tomorrow if they can take her.... I check the airfares again and the same flight is now 315 RT.... He flips out! I told him when we got that first flight we would have to book it asap and that I couldnt garrentee that even the next day the price would be the same.... Plus now we arent even 21 days out... less than 14 days...

ANyway I just got to listen to my BIL yell at me because the whole freemarket price gouging airline system is out to screw everyone. And how they have not right to do this and he is going to write letters..... on and on.... And all that was going thru my head was... well buddy if you were on the ball in the first place we wouldnt be n this postion.

Even if that is the case.... no need to yell at me....

How does that saying go??????? Lack of preperation on your part does NOT mean an emergency on mine...... or something like that...

Sorry to hear you had to put up with that stuff. . You might tell him not to worry about yelling at you or writing letters and book the flight before it goes to $500. . .

Thats the quote! Thanks! I basicly told him (again) that the fares are subject to change and change fast. His fault not mine.... I just hate it when people moan and groan to the WRONG person. Like I can do anything about it. I did tell him I dont make the system I just try ot work it the best I can.... and I did with the 126 RT fare.

Maybe next time he will beleive me.
