Grey's Anatomy - Might be spoiler

Christina Ricci looks younger than ever doesn't she?

Yes! That's why I didn't think it was her. How is that possible? How old is she now?

THE best line I thought was: "Can you get me a new ******? Can you do that?" from Bailey. :rotfl2:

Looked it up. She will be 26 on Feb. 12. Thought she was more like 30 for some reason.

Also--I can't figure out the teaser for next week. She was laboring just fine and now she's at risk for losing the baby???? :confused3 (yes I know that can happen IRL--I just think they are overdramatizing).

My guess is that Bailey is trying to hold out on delivering until she knows her DH is ok. Her water broke, so she needs to deliver w/in 24 hours, so it's probably that she's approaching or beyond the 24 hours mark.

Or, I could be totally remembering wrong about the 24 hours rule and could be totally wrong :p

Season One is coming out on DVD on Feb. 14th.

There are extras on it -- deleted scenes, etc.

It really annoys me in medical dramas that they are so contrite with mom in labor and insistent that they take drugs.
Hey I'm just happy that she seems to be having a normal labor/delivery. It really irks me when tv characters have one contraction and they're in full blown labor and deliver 5 minutes later. And they always freak out too: "OMG! A contraction! I have to get to the hospiatl because I'm gonna have this baby right now!"

I was so mad last night when I went to watch and the first 30 mn was the football game, so I did miss the last 30 minutes......
So I take it that the baby is not born, the husband is still critical and Meredith is holding the bomb.....

Yep, that about sums it up.

So true!

Annette--commonly hospitals will want you to deliver within 24--but you can actually deliver within 48 hours.

I missed the beginning of the episode--so not certain how long she was in labor before it hit the fan--but with a bomb..I don't even think the deliver within 24 hour rule is feasible--I think it will all coincide at conclusion and there is no way that 24 hours would have elapsed.

Just my opinon. Just urked by girl power Addison basically telling Bailey to suck it up and take the drugs. I don't think doctors should talk that way to mommy patients. I think it was more she didn't know where her hubby was.

That line really cracked me up especially in the way she delivered it.

Not sure if you are a regular viewer, but she was talking to her that way b/c they're friends (or at least colleagues) and she knows how pigheaded "My way or the highway" Bailey is. She wouldn't say that to a regular patient.

I can't believe I just defended Addison, the adulterer. What is the world coming to?

Except she qualified it with "As your doctor....."

I just think it was unnecessary--but I have had a couple of moments lately with the editing or scripting decisions of the show.

(Been watching regularly since the start :goodvibes )
