It is nice to be able to DIS while sitting outside the motorhome on a Sunday morning, enjoying a cup of coffee. It ain't the Fort, but it will do for now.
If you have plans to come to Williamsburg, the two KOA campgrounds there (less than a mile apart) have merged under one owner. We are at the Colonial section of the campground. Nice wooded sites but we had to do some leveling. Full hookup, but cable is only available on their premium 50 amp sites in this section. Bathhouses are large and CLEAN with lots of hot water and good pressure. The kids love the pool. The folks are very nice. I was quite surprised to see that the campground was nowhere near full when we pulled in. This summer is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, so I expected more people. Overall, a very nice campground.
Today we are heading to Busch Gardens for a day in the amusement park. Weather looks to be in the mid-80's with relatively low humidity - surprising for Tidewater Virginia in the summertime.
