Hello friends!
I'm currently in WDW staying at CBR. Arrived on Sunday and having a great time! We hit Disney Springs, Epcot, and MK so far. DHS is tomorrow. Just some thoughts to share...
- I did not realize you could not get FastPass+ from your phone. I was under the impression you could use your app to get new ones once you use up your first 3 but that is not the case. You have to go to a kiosk to get a new one.
- I know that I've seen posts about CMs being not as friendly as in the past. I've been paying attention to this and I've noticed that no one has been rude or anything, but the younger CMs do seem to be more interested in talking with one another instead of with guests. No complaints though since everyone has been pleasant overall.
- Had dinner tonight at BOG and it was FANTASTIC! I had the strip steak and I definitely recommend it. It was a great atmosphere in the ballroom and my boyfriend even enjoyed it.
- SDMT was awesome! It was my first time on it and I can definitely see the hype. Thank God we had a FP for that one - it was over an hour wait all day today.
- I really miss Soarin'
Epcot is not the same without it. The countries were fun and it was great to spend time exploring the World Showcase, since I've never actually done that before.
- I do like the FP+ system overall but I can see how people get frustrated with it. The kiosks to get new FPs were nuts in MK today. 30 minutes in a line to get a FP for a ride that you have to wait another 2 hours to ride can be annoying, but it is what it is. Better than running to each ride to get paper FPs like in the past.
- Disney Springs, what the heck. I miss DTD. Maybe it was the construction and congestion, but it isn't the same anymore. Hopefully, when the construction is done, it will be even better.
- I LOVE CBR! The bus service has been fantastic for us and our room is so quiet and clean. We are a short walk to Old Port Royale. Definitely happy with our choice in hotel.
- In my old age (ok, I guess 25 isn't that old, but still...) I find that I am getting more tired in the parks! I was so tired tonight since we got to MK at 9am that we left before Wishes! It's okay though, we had a great day and got on every attraction we wanted to get on.
- Love Memory Maker. So many pictures and it's definitely worth it!
Hmm, I think that's all for now! Maybe I'll do a trip report when I get back home.
