Greek Yogurt ?

My suggestion is if you try one brand and don't like it, try another brand before deciding you don't like it at all. I love Fage and a few other of the organic brands. Tried the Yoplait kind and it was nasty. Tasted like chalk to me.

I didn't like it at first but it's kind of grown on me. I like the Chobani and Fage brands. I've tried other brands but didn't like them as well.

I agree. Try different brands. I lucked out my first time. I love the Fage brand with honey in the separate container that I drizzle on.

Couldn't stand the Oikos brand, and I just tried the Chobani with fruit and it didn't impress me. :p Not enough fruit, so it wasn't sweet enough.

I love Chobani. Walmart just started selling it @ 97 cents each. Otherwise it can get pretty expensive if you don't find it on sale in supermarkets.

If I can't find Chobani I don't like a lot of the other Greek yogurts and will buy something else instead.

all gritty feeling in my mouth.

Yes!!! It's not the thickness I dislike, it's that it's gritty. Yuck. I've wasted more money than I really want to admit, because I tried a bunch of different brands and flavors and the texture is all the same. Like I'm eating sand.

It depends, the greek yogurt at the restaurant "Cora" is to die for, but the greek yogurt we buy is nothing special, I actually thought the taste was pretty gross.

I've tried to like it but it's way too thick for me. It reminds me of sour cream which I hate. I do use it to make smoothies since it has much more protein than regular yogurt.

I have found Yoplait to be the best IMO but that isn't saying much.

I love it! I love Dannon and Chobani. I really love the Dannon vanilla with fruit in it. With the Chobani, the peach is my favorite.

Chobani is made in Chenango County, NY, where I live. My husband is a dairy farmer and some of his milk is actually used in the production of Chobani yogurt. We are big fans!

I LOOOOOVE greek yogurt. The pineapple Chobani actually tastes a little bit like a Dole Whip to me. Yum!! It is so good.

I haven't found one that I like yet but I have several brands to try. So far I don't like it but I don't like sour cream either.

I wish that I could find a sugar free yogurt but I guess that that doesn't exist. I did find one naturally fruit sweetened and it wasn't too bad.

I haven't found one yet. I am sorry but to me it is the nastiest stuff I have ever put in my mouth. I am not a picky eater and will eat almost anything, I actually spit this stuff out, all of it, every brand I have tried. I won't be trying any more.

I tried Chobani first but found that Athenos 0% fat is my favorite. It's strained and has a side of fruit for you to mix in as you please. It's 100 calories and has 11 grams of protein so it's quite a lot of mileage for 100 calories.

I like the blueberry and peach the best.:hippie:

Chobani Pineapple fan here as well. I have tried other brands and other Chobani flavors (peach is ok, honey is ok but I add something sweet and crunchy to it such as crushed graham crackers). Where I shop the shelf is usually always empty of Chobani so I just buy other non-greek yogurt.:confused3

Another huge fan of Chobani yogart here - I have one everyday for lunch at work. My favorites are blueberry and pineapple. Just tried the balck cherry, but I wasn't as thrilled about that as I hoped I'd be.

Chobani's pineapple tastes so good because it's low-fat, not fat free. ;)

I was a Yoplait Light n Fit kinda girl, never cared for Dannon fruit on the bottom. I forget which Greek yogurt I tried first, didn't care for it. Then I tried the Chobani. My favorites are the blueberry and raspberry, strawberry banana is okay, but not as good as the other two IMO. I tried the vanilla, but it didn't have much vanilla flavor, not what I expected after having the Yoplait Very Vanilla and French Vanilla.

Greek yogurt is HUGE right now. Am I the only one who doesn't like it? I can see using it for a dressing or something like that, but the fruity ones you just eat out of the container are way too thick for me. Just wondering if I was the only one who feels this way.

Yes. :goodvibes

Just kidding. I love it but more because I ate it with honey and almonds in Greece the one time I vacationed out of the country and it makes me feel like I'm there.

I only like plain and then I drizzle my own honey on it. I haven't tried the fruity ones but I don't think I'd like them.

Now Kefir, that's a really good yogurt drink I love love love.
