I remember one visit to
Disneyland I didn't tell my cousin I was in town until I got there, and we said something about meeting up at Downtown Disney where we might meet up with her dad. It wasn't Napolini, but we joined them at Naples where they'd been there for a good 40 minutes. They ordered the rectangular extra large. They had 4 people before we showed up, and there was still plenty left.
Napolini has changed though. My first time we went late at night (after Disneyland closing) and they still had slices. They've since switched to only those small pies, kind of like MOD Pizza or Blaze.
There's this one place (Gioia Pizzeria in Berkeley, California) where the owner is a trained chef, but also a Brooklyn native. I went there once with an Italian friend who had been there before, but hadn't seen the owner. I think he liked being there with an open kitchen and talking to customers. We talked a bit about pizza ovens and pizza style. The discussion went into wood and coal, and he said he couldn't get a permit anyways, but that the size of his space wouldn't allow that anyways.
