Greatest food created by man?

I refuse to eat fake pizza made in a blaze or mod style .
Is it real and I am missing speedy pizza foolishly cause my motto in life is a Pizza a day keeps me healthy happy and wise .
Pizza is different everytime and therefore should be eaten daily .

Totinos!

I'll see myself out, thanks.

I'll take down a party pizza any day of we
I could literally live off of good, crusty bread. Dipped in olive oil and herbs, with butter or plain. I am half French and spent every summer growing up there though s I am kind of a bread snob.

I just did this the last 2 days. Our Trader Joes partnered with a local artisan bakery and I bought the absolute BEST loaf of country French bread. I've been also eating a bit of soup and some salad, but mostly that
I remember one visit to Disneyland I didn't tell my cousin I was in town until I got there, and we said something about meeting up at Downtown Disney where we might meet up with her dad. It wasn't Napolini, but we joined them at Naples where they'd been there for a good 40 minutes. They ordered the rectangular extra large. They had 4 people before we showed up, and there was still plenty left.

Napolini has changed though. My first time we went late at night (after Disneyland closing) and they still had slices. They've since switched to only those small pies, kind of like MOD Pizza or Blaze.

There's this one place (Gioia Pizzeria in Berkeley, California) where the owner is a trained chef, but also a Brooklyn native. I went there once with an Italian friend who had been there before, but hadn't seen the owner. I think he liked being there with an open kitchen and talking to customers. We talked a bit about pizza ovens and pizza style. The discussion went into wood and coal, and he said he couldn't get a permit anyways, but that the size of his space wouldn't allow that anyways.

It's much better now that they make individual pies. It's a no brainer when Naples charges over $22 for an individual pie and Napolini charges $12. It is the EXACT SAME size and ingredients. I've done comparisons.

We don't go to Naples much because one of my kids can't tolerate the texture of fresh mozzarella, which is a shame, because the larger pizzas are a great value when you divide by the number of people you have, plus they make some amazing cocktails! So, therefore I appreciate the availability of the individual pies for such a low price and they are done in just a couple minutes.

Blaze and Mod pizza are both gross. I can't get on board.

C'mon. The greatest food created by man is Cool Ranch Doritos. Nothing even comes close.

Yeah, but what about these babies:

That's right - those are Cool Ranch Doritos flavored Lays potato chips! Junk Food scientists have really gone off the deep end with these unholy hybrid abominations.

Also, I've had them. They're pretty good! 😁 Apparently there are also Cheeto and Funyun flavored Lays. 😋

Jello hot fudge pudding cooled just enough to form that layer on top… that’s the best part!

The WalMart Grocery Store had a huge selection of individual size disposable bowls of every cereal made today and I noticed everybody was grabbing a favorite as they walked past.
I grabbed 2 of the sugar Corn Pops ! ! And plan to pack them to take to POP Century for Labor Day Weekend trip.
Are you all jealous?
Did you not read my post where I stated that a 24 ounce box of Fruity Pebbles is a single serving? So, no, not jealous of your tiny little bowls of cereal :rotfl2:

Pretty sure the serving size on cereal boxes is just a loose suggestion.

It's kinda like how many foods now just straight up give you the nutritional information for the whole container, because let's be honest, who gets 4 servings out of a pint of ice cream?

Oh, I know! The serving size on cereal is 1 cup - 1 cup! Whatever. Theoretically that should be "part of a balanced breakfast" but, come on, who really has that TV commercial breakfast every morning?

I really hate the ones that give the nutritional data in an unintuitive size. Like those red hot dogs, the real fat (and delicious) ones - they actually give the nutritional data as "one-half link." Really? Who's eating half of a hot dog? I get that the numbers are scary high as it is, but can we please be more realistic and use 2 full hot dogs...

...and a burger, and a bag of potato chips - not the individual size but the party bag? 🤣

That "balanced breakfast" from the 80s probably clocks in around 600-700 calories of pure carbs and fat. It seems so unhealthy in retrospect.

Unless you're "bulking up for football" - then you need that energy that only cereal and bacon can provide. But there was always half a grapefruit too - but I guess you had to have soemthing to be too full to eat!

Sushi and sashimi. Beautiful to look at, yummy in the tummy. I know lots of people don't like it-more for me! I am a sushi fiend.

Or as they're called in Europe.....Cool American. At least they were in Germany and I thought that was a little funny.

Oh, right, forgot about the grapefruit. I don't recall bacon being in there. I remember it being cereal and milk, OJ, 2 slices of toast with butter. That's like, not nearly enough protein to prevent one from being hungry 3 hours later. Doesn't seem too balanced to me

A coworker always argued "that's what the serving size says you should eat." He couldn't understand the serving size is just a quantifier for the nutrition label. If the serving size was what one should eat, junk food wouldn't have a serving size because you shouldn't eat any of it.

I can't even believe nobody has mentioned convenience store chili dogs and corn dogs. I pretty much lived off those gifts from God all thru my 20's.

Wow, potato chips that taste like corn chips. Where are the Pringle-flavored Sunchips?
