Hi All!
I am in my final classes for my Masters degree in Special Education, and I just finished a paper on websites that offer Assistive technology/devices. What I found was a lot of websites were not user friendly at all, or were seriously outdated . I did however, find this one website that is so easy to navigate, and gives descriptions, pictures, cost, when it is was last updated, and the information of the place where you can get what you need! After searching for a website like this for years in my own needsnfor these type of devices for my disability, I am so surprised I found this while doing a paper! :lmao:

The site is www.abledata.com

I just had to share it since it was such a rare find! :goodvibes

Good find.
It has been around for a long time - it's much more user friendly than it used to be parts of it can be outdated ( which can be disappointing, especially if you find something that looks just perfect and then you find out it is no longer available).

It is nice that they have the date of the last update of the website. Some things don't change much, but especially for electronics and apps, you want to check the company website because those items get updated fairly often.

Another website you might want to check out if you haven't seen it is www.closingthegap.com
