a few answers to my own questions in case anyone else has the same ones. Booked thru Costco. 3 bdrm DLh suite. Requested conceirge and was able to get it even though no one would confirm it on the phone and I did have to ask at check in. My sister had a 2 bdrm and had requested conceirge and was able to get it also at check in. The suite was beautiful and roomy. A 2 queen room, a king room, and a 2 queen suite All connecting rooms 10th floor adventure tower. Booked 9 in the 3 bdrm and was able to add 3 other family members names to our room so they could take advantage of early entry. Had part of our group off site in a condo, another group off site in a motel, and part of our group lives close to Disneyland. 27 of us celebrating my parents 60th anniversary. Had ordered the Mickey welcome package. Mom was overwhelmed with all the gifts in the in room celebration. My sister had also sent flowers and gifts. I was disappointed that the banner wAs not a personalized welcome banner that I had request, had a Mickey Mail banner instead. Our ressy for btmbbq was canceled because of rain but conceirge was able to get us all into story tellers. The rain was amazing, wet, and windy. Definitely kept the crowds down, which was great for the adults. We did have 4 little ones so I spent a lot of time not in the park but with my grandkids. Didn't mind so much with the beautiful room and conceirge. Dad had a scooter rented from deckers , no problems. My sister bought the photo pass plus for me on the 2nd, she got there the day before me. So glad she got it as it sounds like they are no longer offering it. Did a couple of the Disney visa meet n greets to get whole group pictures, still missed a couple of people in each one. Only scheduled the picture times and 2 meals ahead of time. Then everyone was free to come and go with whoever, whenever. Used gift cards to pay for conceirge charges and parking charges, was able to have conceirge apply gift cards so did not have to go to guest services.

The Costco pkg came with free character dining. So I booked the room for 9 adults and. Received 9 vouchers about the same size as the paper/cardboard Dl park hopper, on the back they stated that they could be used at any Disney dining for a value of $47.00. We used them at storytellers lunch and the left over at blue bayou lunch.

From what I read on another forum, you can still get the photo pass plus at Disneyland, you just can not pre-order it anymore.

Nope - all done, you cannot buy it in the parks either. There was a detailed thread about this awhile ago and confirmation was made with DLR themselves that they no longer sell it.

Sounds like a great trip. My parents did not have near the 60th Anniversary party as yours! Glad you were able to have such a wonderful trip with so many people coming together and the suites sound lovely.

Sounds like a great trip!!! Happy anniversary to your parents!!

I have a costco question. How did you make the final payment? Do I have to call Disney or Costco or do they send an email? I have to pay soon and haven't heard anything.

the number you call is a disneytravel #. i just called in and applied gift cards or cc# over the phone. there is probably a phone number on your costco paperwork. i don't remember a final notice from costco but i did make several payments. package from costco came at about 3 weeks out from our trip.

Oh ok, on another forum they stated it was only for sale within Disneyland. Thanks for the clarification and handy to know for next time, Cheers :)
