Great stay at the Shelburne Murray Hill in NYC

We spent the weekend at the Shelburne Murray Hill using points. It was well worth the points. We were able to walk to the New Amsterdam Theatre to see "The Lion King" and there were many restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel was very nice and the service was great. This is the second exchange that we have done with our points and we were very pleased. We are now looking forward to using our points at the AKL and OKW this summer!

what type of room were you given at the Shelburne? did you stay one night or longer? WE travel to NYC often and thought about using our points at either the Plaza or the Shelburne. Would the Shelburne have enough room for two children also...or is it a room that is better for just two people. What type of neighborhood is it in?

Our room was a studio with two double beds and a kitchen. This was a small kitchen with a full size stove. They also have 1- bedrooms that have a separate sitting area. We were there for 2 nights. The hotel is located in a residential area where you ae not afraid to walk around at night.
