GREAT news... Got Delta credit easily, still have question!!

Hi Everyone!

I booked our BOS to MCO flight one day before all the 98.00 fares came out!! Our direct flights on Delta were never discounted until TODAY!! I've been checking a few times per day since everyone dropped their prices.... Well, today was the day!! I checked this morning, NOTHING... checked this afternoon $129.50 with all taxes.. granted not the 109 fare everyone else got, but I still got a $40.00 credit for each of our 4 tickets!! I'm thrilled since I have to schedule two more Disney trips before the credit expires... Just have to!!

Here's my question though... if they lower the price again, can I get additional credits? Even though I did get $40.00 credits already?

Oh, I must say it was EASY.... I called, gave the girl my confirmation number & just said "the price has dropped" She looked it up, said yes, "You know it's a credit right?" I was like yup!!! So HAPPY!!!

If it wasn't for this board I would never have known about their issuing credits!!! Thanks everyone!!

all I can tell you is to try. some people have gotten it twice and some only once and some not at all.

Thanks Beverly Lynn! Is there a written policy regarding these credits? When or if they are supposed to be given? I didn't dare ask LOL... I just wanted my credit & I've waited weeks with the hopes that it would!!!

We have received vouchers and credits to our visa 3 times since we bought our tickets in May for our Sept. trip! I done this by checking online then calling to see if the price was the same by calling in. Only once did they tell me it was higher by calling in, so no voucher was issued then. BTW, this is on Delta. Good luck!

For those of you flying international good luck on credits. Delta and I are in a HEATED war over an international price change (Which I figure I will lose) Right now I am making them issue me a $1 credit! They charge a "Downgrade" fee on international flights only! The $1 credit is just to irrate them (which it did!) They subtracted my price decrease from their downgrade fee and came up with $1! I have a letter to customer service, but...
