Great deal @ Target - Glade flameless candles

For the person who asked, my Target told me to just pick whichever GCards I wanted and put $5 on each one because the register wouldn't let her put them all on one. She then offered to put them all together on to one card for me. So apparently you don't have to get the flimsy cards after all.

I just got three today and didn't get a gift card. Was it on the larger 3 set? We just got the singles.

I got mine yesterday and the refills. I didn't get a flimsy gf either, they just pulled 2 off the shelf and then I used those to pay for my other items. I tried it last night and I didn't notice the scent when I put it in my living room but I did see the puff, anyone else notice this?

I got 4 yesterday. Was everyone else's receipt hard to understand? Mine was! I am still not sure if they took off the second candle completely. I hope it is right. It says special promotion. Then on 1 it took off $9.98 but on the other 3 it took off $3, $4,$2. Then it added on the gift card and then took it back off. Then at the bottom of each part it says package total $9.98. I guess at most I am missing $.98. Thanks OP for the tip. I am adding 3 of these to Christmas gifts, and keeping one for me!

Can someone tell me what an electric candle base is and where would I find one? I thought this flameless candle was what DN was talking about but now I think it might be something else!

Anyone know when this deal is over? I went to my Super Target last night and grabbed the last two. I still have two coupons to use.

On another note, yes, I thought my receipt was hard to read. Everything I had was pretty much free (polly pocket & juicy juice). I don't understand why these stores have such difficult receipts. Crazy!

Saturday is the last day for the gc offer in stores. If you Target is out, have them check in the back. My store only had one on the shelf but plenty in the back

I tried this this morning I was given a hard time about using the coupon with the special of the $5 dollar gift card. She told me I can't combine specials. After a little complaining she got the manager ans she said just see if it goes through well it did come off. I agree the receipt is very hard to understand I'm not sure if I got my total discount. After going through my whole receipt ( I bought other things) it looks like I spent about $5 on the 4 starter kits still a great deal!

As far as the gift cards she gave me the flimsy ones I just bought 2 $10 ones immediately after the last transaction!

I got some of these yesterday as well, and I was thinking the same thing about the receipt. I understand why companies are doing this, but I usually can still understand the receipt. Not this one though.

Anyway, I was told that I had to get the flimsy GCs, but it was no big deal because then I was able to easily use those to pay for the nicer GCs. It was more hassle for the cashier -- not me, but hey, I didn't make the rules. I'm putting one of the flamelss candles in each of my dds' teacher's gifts because I thought it would be nice since there is no flame, and I added a Hawaiian scent refill to use later in the school year.

I tried yesterday to print out that B1G1F coupon and never could. It would look like it was printing then it would just shut down and nothing prints. Then I cleared all cookies and everything else and it printed off a $2.00 coupon instead of the B1G1F so I gave up.

Went to Target in Lewisville, Texas this morning - they have TONS of these candles and other Glade candles are marked down. I got one of the Glade candles in the holder where the candle melts down and burns in a glass dish - marked down to $4.29 and I had a $4.00 coupon = .29.

Then I got just a plain Glade candle in the jar - marked down to $1.49 - $1.00 = .49. so I felt like I got a deal even though I couldn't get the coupon I wanted to print.

When I checked out, and the cashier scanned my b1g1 coupons, the price kept coming up $2.50. Fortunately, I was paying attention. She had to call a manager over to override the system and put in the correct dollar amount off.

When I got a chance to look at my receipt, it looks like the $2 refill coupon came off the candles and the b1g1 was trying to take off for the refills(which makes sense since they were $2.50). So, for some reason, my coupons were flip flopped. Just a heads up for everyone to keep an eye open. And I totally agree about the receipt. It was really difficult to decipher.

39.12 = 4 candles x $9.78
-19.56 = 2 b1g1 free coupons
- 3.00 = manufacturers coupon
5.00 = 2 candle refills
- 4.00 = 2 $2 off refill coupon

17.56 = total paid
20.00 = free gift cards

So, they basically paid me $2.44 to take the candles off their hands! Great deal. Thanks op!

Thanks for this OP! Our office manager gave me a Glade candle after I kept asking her if she had FOOD in her office... the apple one smells like HEAVEN! She blew it out and gave it to since she said she had more at home. She's one of the sweetest women ever...

This morning when I read your post I thought she'd love this, too! When I get to her office someone told me she just ran out because her beloved Grandma just died... I'll make sure she has a brand new flameless one on her desk when she gets back. Thanks for allowing me to do this!

did the deal yesterday..........was able to buy 4 french vanilla scent (only had linen and vanilla) and a refill of apple cinnamon. Used 2 B1G1 free Q's and also had a $4 Q, $4Q, and a Q for a free refill.........

my total came to $10.xx and change......got back $20 in gift cards (i could pick anyones)....then had another transaction for a few christmas presents that came to $35.00....used $20 GC and a $5 Q for polly pocket and all I paid was $10.

The woman behind me was very impressed!!! She couldn't believe all that I walked away with!!

I bought mine at Walmart for $5. I am not good at explaining thing, but basically it is big enough to warm a jar candle. Mine is white with a cord that you plug in and the spot that heats up is black.

Thank you! I went this morning and picked up two candles with the B1G1free coupon. I did receive 2 $5 Target gift cards. I agree with everyone that the print-out on the reciept is very strange indeed. I went off to the side and totaled everything up to make sure I had in fact goten the bargain I thought I had (yes, in came out correct). Sures seems like there's an easier way to do it though. Anyway, thanks again - my kitchen smells lovely right now!

The same thing has been happening to me, so I have just been watching closely and having them correct it. I've been doing this deal all week. They are great! I have the apple cinnamon one going now. I gave each of my kids teachers ones with a refill for their Christmas gift. I used to teach and I think they make a great classroom gift.
