Is the 250 Watt a good one? Someone told me not to bother with anything less than 325 watt. And I don't have a clue if I would even be able to tell the difference.

There are several levels of Kitchenaid mixers. the 250 watt is the lowest wattage offered. There is the classic-300watts, artisan-325watts, the accolade-400watts and the professional-575watts most are with tilt back heads, sometimes you can find the artisan and accolade with lift up bowls (I have seen them at Costco) and the professional only has a lift up bowl.

The latter two can do double batches of cookie dough and breads.

Right now at Williams-Sonoma you can get a few colors including pink for $219.99, there are also rebates through the store with either money back or additional accessories.

Some colors are being discontinued and will continuously lower in price until they are all gone so that new fall colors can come in. So keep an eye out if you live near a store.

In the case of the pink mixer any time one is purchased kitchenaid donates $50.00 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

OK, I blew the spending "freeze". BUT... Honestly, I am thrilled. I have been wanting one of these for several years.

I think that is very cool.

Thanks for all the information.

I am so glad I could make everyone happy!!! I would buy an extra one if I thought I would ever use it but since the one I have should last me the rest of my life I guess I better not!!!

Bella.........The KitchenAid is in Greenville, Ohio.

OH well, the gas it would take to drive from Mass would not make it worth it to go to the outlet. :rotfl2:

I was not able to find anymore rebates that were mentioned. :confused3

It is still a good deal.

I just received my KitchenAid Mixer lastnight. :Pinkbounc
