Great Deal at Walmart!!

Found lots of clothes on clearance.

My best find was ladies jeans for $3 per pair!!!

Some of the items were for winter/fall but some things had never found their way to the racks and were T-shirts (some with Mickey) that change color when in the sun.

I found a great pair of capris' also on the $3 rack

And then they refused to sell them to me. It was the sales rack right out in the middle of the isle where the cashiers stand when they don't have somebody at the register. she saw me pick em up, I went to the dressing room and tried them on. HEAVEN, they were so cute and fit very well.

Went and pay, they rang up full price. I said no, you just say me pick em up from the $3 rack, she says she'll go ask. comes back and says somebody stuck em there. They said if there had been another pair, then fine, it would have been their fault, but somebody stuck them there.

I was not happy. It's the store policy to sell them for the adversitsed price, and thats why stores have empoyee's, to keep the store in order.

So no cute jeans for me

Made a huge find for my DS today. They had a ton of Garanimals shorts, pants, and tops they were marking down to $1 Also had 12 different Bakugan that are ususally 7.88 for $1 each I got one of all of them to put up for Christmas and loaded up on $1 clothes. They are the only place I can find plain shirts to make customs for our Disney trips. They told me girls and boys will be marked down over the next couple days and that they have several other carts in the back to mark down.

Just being on a rack isn't advertising a price. Or should I start having my spouse go in ahead of me and put $100 items on the rack when the head cashier is busy with something, then wait until I can be seen picking it up from the rack, then demanding that item for the cheap sale price?

God himself couldn't keep a Walmart in order. That is why I never shop there.

Not a HUGE fan of Walmart but since it's pretty much the only game in town (along with Kmart) we shop there alot. That said..clearly people stick stuff on racks they don't belong at because they are too lazy to put them back where they came from, so no, the store shouldn't have to give you a clearance price on a non clearance item because it ended up on the sale rack.
And..the reason Walmart..and every other store...has a hard time keeping areas tidy is because of the shoppers who trash the place.
My second job is at an entertainment store and it's disgusting how people treat the product. You don't even want to go into the children's section and see what parents let their kids do with the books and toys strewn all over the floor, packages opened, etc.
So..if people want a nice shpping experience they should help out by being considerate. Yes, employees need to do cleaning and straightening, but no store can afford the labor cost of people running after slobs cleaning up all day.

I agree that anyone could have stuck those pants on the $3 rack. They actually have to have a clearance sticker.
I found a pair of capris that was last years style, I have several pair, and it still have the $11 sticker, but rang up $16. The dressing room lady said they probably just marked it back up. But she told me to tell the cashier it had a sticker, and I did, and he rang it up $11.
So I don’t think they really mark stuff way down, at least not this store as they just stuck it back out at full price.
