Just back from a four day Wonder cruise. Prior to posting a trip report I wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful advice and help through our planning process. My DH keeps complimenting me on how smooth our trip was. That credit really belongs to all of you. Your wonderful ideas, helpful advice, and prompt response to my questions helped make our first cruise experience a memorable one.

I also want to thank the wonderful web sites started by other disney fans, castawayclub, allearsnet, dave's dcl tribute site, and deb's wdw info site.

Thanks again everyone, here's hoping your lives are filled with pixie dust as ours is now.

Do you think 4 days was enough for a first cruise?

Sounds like you might do another? It was that fun.
I am excited to hear you had a great time.

thanks for sharing!!:wave2:

Although my two DS's, ages 5 and 7 spent a good amount of time enjoying themselves in the clubs, they spent a lot of time with their DD and I as well. If you have ever vacationed with children this age before you know that things are not always as relaxing as you might expect. Thus, 4 days on the Disney Wonder was plenty. Once they get a little older we will definately consider a seven day cruise.

With that said the four of us still had a wonderful time, plenty to do, plenty to eat, and plenty of time just being together.

By the way, we were on deck seven in a category 11. Prior to the cruise we were concered about the size of our cabin. I must say I was impressed with the size and comfort, needless to say we loved our indoor, cat 11, cabin.

Kayraras,

I'm with you on the deck 7 cat. 11 room. We've had the same room, 7127 for our 3 cruises and am waiting to book it again!

We liked deck 7, BUT after staying on deck 5 we were hooked (at least as long as the kids are in the kids club). It is so quiet in that hall, and the kids clubs are just a short walk away (and so if the movie theater).

There are a few Cat. 11s in that hall that are sideways. I haven't seen them yet, but someone posted pictures, and I like the layout.

Once my kids are out of the Lab and on to the teen's place, we might go back to deck 7. But for now, we like deck 5 the best.

Thank God that I finally found someone that was in the same room as we are going to have on the Sept. 26th Wonder cruise. I'm glad you have positive feedback on that floor and that room because I was concerned about it. We also have 7129 because I have six people in my family. Is it a room that sleeps 3 or 4? I was just wondering because my two boys want to sleep in one room so I was going to put me,my husband, and my two little girls in the other room. Is this a good idea or not?

Our room, 7537, slept four people. Two in what looked like a full size mattress. The couch, and an interesting bed in the wall, still don’t know how they put that together, forms something like a bunk bed. I don’t know about putting the boys in their own room, I guess that depends on their ages.

There was one thing that we found annoying, at first. I am not sure if the problem is just in cabin 7537 but, our in room toilet was so loud that it scared everyone including my DH.

It sounded like a loud monster was caught in a vacuum that was pulling him into out of space every time that we flushed the toilet. We got use to it towards the end though.

Unfortunately, from what I have read, this is the norm for the toilets. I'm going to have to warn my 4 year old to let me flush for him once he has left the bathroom.
