Graphic savvy dissers

I am trying to make a logo for a friend for her website and I am stuck. I have a graphic and I want to add animated text next to it. I want the graphic on the left and then the animated text on the right. No matter what I try I just can't get it to work.

Is there someone here that could help me out? Thanks!

I have Paint Shop Pro 9 and Animation Shop 3. That's all.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I can add the un-animated text to the graphic, but when I try and add the animated text, I lose the animation and it has a funky colored background.
