Oh my! I am so sorry to hear this....I broke my ankle a couple of years ago & had to have surgery to place plates and pins. It is not fun at any age.

I am sending prayers and much to GM and you.

Sorry to hear about GM's fall! My 89 yr old MIL fell 2yrs ago and broke her wrist. Had the pin/plate surgery, came out just fine.

I can't believe it. I have just been following along on your blog and had no idea. A broken leg is certainly NOT what you were needing on this trip. Thank goodness you're together, though. Tell Grandpa Mohawk that we're all thinking of him and wish him a speedy recovery. And here's a hug for you too - My DH broke his leg about 5 years ago and being the caregiver brings its own stress, I know. Hang in there, BroganMc.
