Grandpa Mohawk takes a fall

I too send my prayers to you and GM. When I read your trip reports I always wish I could have shared the wonderful times with my own father that you have with GM. Here's to a speedy recovery.

That's so unfair, poor guy. Good luck on your part as well. Will miss your updates "this" time.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that Grandpa Mohawk broke his leg! I will say a prayer for him right now that he will feel much better very soon. and prayers for you too!

Brogan I am so sorry about your Dad's leg! Tell him we're thinking about him--broken bones (and surgery) are no fun at any age!

I'll miss reading the rest of your blog for this trip . . . .they are always so entertaining and informative.

Brogan: just had a thought--how long will GM be in the hospital?

Will it be long enough to be able to get some get well cards? If so, if you could give us the name and address of the hospital and other contact info I will pop a card in the mail today!

Cheryl

Oh my! I am so sorry to hear this....I broke my ankle a couple of years ago & had to have surgery to place plates and pins. It is not fun at any age.

I am sending prayers and much pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: to GM and you.

Hope GM has a speedy recovery and both of you are safe and comfortable as possible on the way home.

Brogan, I am so sorry to hear about GM's accident. Prayers and Pixie Dust for both of you.

Get Well Soon! Grandpa Mohawk

Brogan, I pray that you will have a safe and uneventful drive home, :drive: and that Grandpa Mohawk will be up and about very soon!

May your next trip to the Mouse by 10X as sweet!

Sorry to hear about GM's fall! My 89 yr old MIL fell 2yrs ago and broke her wrist. Had the pin/plate surgery, came out just fine.

Wishing you and GM the best and a speedy recovery for him.

I can't believe it. I have just been following along on your blog and had no idea. A broken leg is certainly NOT what you were needing on this trip. Thank goodness you're together, though. Tell Grandpa Mohawk that we're all thinking of him and wish him a speedy recovery. And here's a hug for you too - My DH broke his leg about 5 years ago and being the caregiver brings its own stress, I know. Hang in there, BroganMc.

So sorry, it's been great fun to follow your adventures....Sending get-well wishes :flower3:, prayers and pixie dust pixiedust: your way.
