We will be staying in a deluxe concierge room of the RPC on the fourth floor from Jan 17th-25th and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to get up-graded with a deluxe room reservation? We are already quaranteed a very nice room and I did not want to look greedy by asking to be up-graded, but I wasn't sure if anyone has ever tried it before at GF or any other resort. Any information would be great! And also, has anyone stayed in the Main Building in the last couple months? What I was wondering is what kind of food they have out now? We have been there a couple times in the past 3 years and we have not been there since Jan of 2002. Any recent information about the GF would be greaty appreciated!!!!

Forgive me for being unfamiliar with GF rooms, but what would be an upgrade from your already Deluxe Concierge room? A suite? I doubt they would do that. Oh, I'm thinking maybe the upgrade is in regards to view or building? If so, you might be successful with that. It never hurts to ask!

RPC stands for Royal Palm Club which is the concierge level of the Main Building. GF has another Concierge that is in another building and it is not as fancy. By being up-graded i was referring to being bumped up to a suite.

Ohhh, I knew it was something I "knew" and just couldn't remember at the time. LOL I knew about Royal Palm club... just couldn't remember. Thanks for explaining that to remind my senile old brain. LOL
