Last year, about when did the gingerbread house open at GF? Is it usually up in time for the first Christmas party? We are visiting that weekend and I would love for my daughter to see it. If it isn't, no big deal, just curious though.

You can see the dates the GBH went up at GF, as well as the Christmas decorations, HERE. Enjoy!

Thanks! So it appears to be kind of all over the place. :)
GBH construction dates have been pretty consistent, with the exception of 2022. I’d like to think construction of the GBH will stay in line with years past and start the first week of November. Opening dates will vary, though, unfortunately. Hopefully you’ll get to see it!

Unlikely to be completed by first Xmas party but go see it no matter what. It’s cool even when it’s under construction!

Just wanted to note that I just realized I put the wrong date on the website. Somehow I added a 1. It was November 8 that it opened - not the 18th!! I just realized it and didn’t think it made sense. Sorry about that. Luckily I have backups to confirm lol

My daughter and I check in the GF on November 1st last year and they were working on the Gingerbread House. It was competed on the 3rd. We left on the 5th and they were open for treats. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!

Sounds good! I actually don't care if the shop inside is open because I doubt we'd buy anything anyway. I just want her to see it.

A couple years ago was our first trip when Christmas decorations are up.

I Highly suggest going to the Beach Club and see the gingerbread carousel.

It's pretty neat.

We have breakfast at Yacht Club one morning so we definitely will.
