Does anyone know about the gift shop at the Grand Floridian Gingerbread house? Is there such a thing? If so,
what does it sell? I thought I read somewhere that they sell miniature gingerbread houses. How much? Can they ship it? Any other good things to buy there?
Thanks!:)

I know they sell gingerbread cookies (I want to say around $4, but I don't remember from last year) and a few other cookies. Not sure about the houses. Basically, you walk up to a window in the house where they are selling the items.

I just saw a post yesterday about this...the small houses run around $60 or $65! At that price, I'd want to be able to spray mine with some sort of sealer to keep it for display!! Anybody else done that? Or I should ask, CAN that be done??

I read on the GF FAQ's thread that the GF won't ship the houses. There's also a "menu" of what they sell in the gingerbread house posted on that thread, if anyone wants to see last year's prices. The cookies are expensive, but they really are delicious. I like to get the bag of assorted gingerbread cookies for myself and as souvenirs for my parents and in-laws when they're not with us, and last year the bag cost $15.50 and it held 1/2 lb., I think.

Hi,there. The gingerbread houses are much less expensive if you buy them from the gift shop of the beach Club - at least they have been for the past two years. The houses are too expensive at the GF - at least for what I am willing to spend. We always get them from the BC gift shop.
It's fun to buy treats from the Gingerbread House - a very "Christmasy" thing to do. They also do little demonstrations outside the house at set times throughout the season.

Disney will not ship ANY food.

We were going to get a house at the GF, but I guess we will just get some cookies and see about getting one at one of the other gift shops. :)

We visited a couple of years ago, and the cookies looked so good! The houses were very nice, too, but we didn't get them. Food Network had a special showing how they build the house, so if you can catch that, that would be a nice primer for your trip!

Wow, thanks everyone for responding to my question! I can hardly wait to get to WDW for some gingerbread!
To phyllis1966 the picture in your signature is beautiful!

As pin collectors we appreciated this - they also sold a Disney pin (I think it was a limited edition) shapped like the Gingerbread House at the GF.

Tammi thank you for the menu! You are always a great resource of knowledge about the GF. I've noticed your many helpful answers on these boards for a long time!
