Grand Floridian Concierge vs. Polynesian Concierge

As many of us are, I am the "go to girl" for WDW info and am currently doing some research for a friend that’s planning a trip in January.

I am interested in a comparison between the Grand Floridian Concierge and the Polynesian Concierge. I would appreciate any information about the two. I’m also interested in learning if there was a particular reason you picked the one you did.

We honeymooned at the Poly and loved it (1995). Would do it again in a heartbeat. Chose the GF Concierge for this trip though because we're going at Christmas and I wanted the decorations. Poly doesn't get into the traditional theme as much, and that was important to us. Also, I like that the GF has 2 sinks in their rooms (5 of us in one room). After the rehab, I would probably pick Poly for a non-Christmas trip. The view from the LVC is hard to beat, and the staff is really friendly.

Sorry, it's Lagoon View Concierge. There are 2 levels of concierge at the Poly, Garden View and Lagoon view. They both are in the Hawaii bldg. Have you checked out Tikiman's site for the Poly?
