Grand Floridian Cinderella meal?

I am thinking of doing this one. How was it? Worth it?
Also will I have any luck getting a reservation at all if we are going the first week of April? I will take anything!! Thanks for any tips or help!!

We did 1900 Park Fare before they had the changed in characters, and the food was great. I've been reading recently that the food isn't very good since they made the change. The characters, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the stepsisters and stepmother are supposed to be a lot of fun. I would love to read some really good reviews, since we would like to go again in August.

I did it last year when they had the mice and they were really sweet. The food was very good. We are going again this April and looking forward to it. We saw the bad stepmother and stepsisters in MK last year and they were hilarious, I cant wait to see them at 1900 Park fare.

We did the 1900 Park Fare Cinderella dinner in Jan 2008 and we loved it! The characters were so much fun. My dd4 got to get up and dance with one of the stepsisters. We have great pics! The food was great. It was one of highlights of our Disney week. My dd was in awe of Cinderella.

Let's just say that I loved, loved, loved this place! It was the biggest suprise of our trip! We didn't expect the food to be as good as it was, and we didn't realize that there would be such good interaction with the characters.
I would suggest if you can to get an ADR for around 7:00 or after, it's more relaxed and the characters will spend more time with you, we went when the mice were still there, but to many good reports about the step mother and sisters being a lot of fun to want to miss!
We went for a breakfast on our first day there and celebrated my daughters birthday, the characters were so sweet and signed autographs and did pics, talked with everyone for while, and even tigger came over and took my dd's spoon and dipped it into her frosting on her cupcake and put the frosting on her nose! She thought that was the funniest thing ever! Then we went to the Cinderella dinner like the 2nd to last night we were there and let me just say that we were looking forward to our dinner after such a great experience for breakfast. It was an awesome way to start our trip and a great way to almost end it. They will be the first and last ADR's on our trip for sure this time!

How cute about your DD'a dance! I have read that PC dances with some of the girls? Did this happen during your dining experience? Curious, because my daughter REALLY wants to dance with PC........Thanks!

We ate there in November and the food wasn't great. I think it was one of the worst meals we ate at WDW. My DS didn't like any of the food and ended up eating mostly fruit and cookies. I picked on a few things, but it wasn't the greatest.

The characters were good though. The redheaded stepsister was very funny.

Maybe the whole thing was spoiled by the server running our Disney gift card through the register twice and telling us there was only $13 left on it when there was actually over $100! I thought I was going to cry! DH had to pay the rest in cash and then we had to waste time trying to get it straightened out. The people working at the desk certainly weren't helpful. We finally went to GF's concierge and they called up and found out what happened and got the balance put back on our card, and when we went back and told the people at the desk, they didn't really seem to care. They just said oh, the server should have told us if she was having trouble with the register.

Ok, we ate here Monday night. Is it worth it? That will be a matter of opinion. We had never eaten with Cinderella so it was worth it to us to see her and Prince Charming. It was my birthday so I got a crown and a little birthday cake. That was neat. To us, the food was not what we like. All Ears had peel and eat shrimp on their menu but I did see any. That was disappointing. I was looking forward to those. I have it scheduled for our May trip but I am going to cancel it. The strawberry soup was yummy, though.

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to other people's reviews, especially if they are mixed. Everyone's taste is different. I always say try it for yourself.

We enjoyed it... food was pretty good, character interaction well above average. The sisters gave DD5 a hard time about her Cinerella dress, as Drizella was leaving DD asked me "are they princesses?", I said "not really, they just think they are"... Drizella tried to stare me down but failed, stamped her foot and huffed "You're lucky mother isn't here!".

She was funny. We had two boys with us and they did not want to get their picture made with her. She kept making comments about my crown. I wore it the whole time.
