Has anyone eaten here for dinner? The menu looks like something we would enjoy. My DH and I are seafood lovers and he loves steak too. There doesn't seem to be a big choice for seafood at WDW (I know Fultons). What is the atmosphere like at GFC, Kiddie friendly, attire? TIA

We had dinner there a few weeks ago. Actually it was a last minute replacement. We had a PS at Boma but DH ran late playing golf so I cancelled Boma (reluctantly) and we went to GFC since we were staying at the GF. It was very good. We had previously only had lunch there so I wasn't sure how the dinner would be. I had the steak and shrimp and DH had the pasta dish. Mine was very good and DH just loved his meal. It was very kid friendly (we had three) and has a nice view of the GF grounds. We both just had polos and nice shorts on and we fit in quite nicely.

Dh and I ate there in April. I did a review. It was last minute with no ps because of a storm. We had a wait but it was nice to be seranaded by the musicians in the lobby. My dh had the onion soup, we shared the crab cake appetizer, (out of this world), and I had the field green salad. It was good but the dressing was a little strong. They gave us sourdough rolls and little cinamon rasin loafs in the bread basket. For the entree dh had the pistachio snapper and I had the pasta and shrimp dish. It was good but a little heavy on the sauce, you might want to ask for them to go easy with the asiago cheese sauce if you choose that dish. For dessert dh wanted the fondue to share. I really didnt care for it, I would have preferred to share some of the mini desserts. Jessi was our server and she was fantastic. We got a 20% discount with our dde card too. Kids were welcome there. We were dressed pretty casually. I think I had on capris.

We ate there last week and loved it. We had pasta with shrimp, roasted chicken and a hamburger. Everyone was very pleased with the food. It's a great cross between a restaurant with upscale food but a casual atmosphere. This is a not to be missed meal for us in the future.
