Grand Cayman-Rum Point?

Rum Point is really nice but personally I would rather rent a car and drive there on our own. Its a really pretty drive, and really easy too. If you want to live large, rent a Jeep and get a tan:sunny:

We've rented through Avis Cico Cayman and they always give great rates for us cruisers who only take the cars for a few hours.

Rum point is really pretty, the whole area there is, you can walk out forever and its only waist deep! We even found a little sandbar out to the left where the water was 6 inches deep. I layed out there with the kids for hours and kept sending DH back for Pink Sand Beach drinks:earseek: Luckily he drove back!!

Does anyone know if there is good snorkling there?
Restaurants?

Yes, there is beach restauarant and really nice place as well but I don't remember the name.

There are some snorkeling spots in the area and there are some photos and map onCayman Snorkeling Guide

Some others in the area too that you can visit if you rent a car. Might be a fun trip actually, to follow the guide and try to see how many you can go to while your in port!

Is there a comparable web site for the islands on the Eastern DCL itinerary? This one for Grand Cayman just blew me away!
