Curious about this, too! I saw some reviews where room balconies were blocked off and there was scaffolding all over the place. Does anyone know what section of the hotel is being worked on right now? Is it the standard rooms, or only DVC?

Yes, I want to know this, too, and cannot find any info anywhere about it. Thanks!

Ok thank you. I have seen videos where they have more in the room like toothbrushes and other things but that may have just been in there for the youtubers sake.

When I stayed in February, there was a box (just one) with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash. It was nice since I had forgotten my mouthwash...although to be honest it was kind of disgusting, but happy to have it over nothing!

Besides that, it was the dispenser shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, and a bar of soap and small bottle of lotion near the sink. There were also the disposable slippers under the robes others have mentioned.

Does craftsman grill still sell doughnuts? The menu on the app only shows the items you order at the counter, not all the stuff you grab n go. TIA.

They had them for Season of the Force which ended on May 11. I assume the SW decorated ones are gone. They probably have 70th cupcakes and donuts now.

Our standard room last year had a Keurig. There were regular and decaf K cups, too.

I just pulled up the app (3:15pm pacific time) and I don't see mobile orders for anywhere. I thought Craftsman had it sometimes but maybe not.

As far as I know, all of the rooms are approximately the same size if you are talking about standard vs pool view vs dtd view etc. Some of them are a little larger than others but there is no way to guarantee size with those booking that I know of. It just depends on the layout of the room but the difference isn't much anyway. If you are asking about suites, there is a big difference in size. I have stayed in all the different view rooms and now I just book a standard unless a view is on sale or isn't much more expensive because it really is just the room view/ location that changes. You can request King vs two Queens which can make the room feel larger but they are never guaranteed either.

No problem. As a mom to 4 teens, I get it!! The rooms at the grand are smaller than the DLH standard rooms. Just something to note if you have stayed there. I think it’s like 400 sq feet at the DLH and 350 or so at the grand.

ETA: PPH rooms are the largest of the three but for some reason I don’t enjoy that hotel but I haven’t stayed there since the remodel

Last time we stayed at the Grand the balcony was really nice if anyone wanted some alone time, so I like their rooms better for that feature. I do love DLH, though! I've wanted to try PPH but I hear such awful things about the elevators.

The balcony and 2 sinks outside the bathroom at the Grand made it much more functional for us when we had teens.
