My "baby" brother is graduating from high school, and we're all going to the parks to celebrate. He's staying with our parents, and my husband and I (bit of a sibling age gap. :rotfl: )are meeting them at the parks. He may bring a friend, too. I know Disney has little buttons and celebratory ears, but I wondering if anyone had any suggestions for special things to bring to, do, or buy at Universal. He's a goofball, so pretty much anything goes. Thanks in advance!

I know they have birthday and anniversary pins...they might do grad pins. If you have a Dollar Store near you, they usually carry things like that.

Sounds like a good time to get him a wand! Maybe you can get lucky and be a chosen one at Ollivanders!

Congrats to your brother!! You might be able to pick up an I'm celebrating button at Guest Services. They'll write in the occasion for you. The button and a HP shirt will up his chances of getting picked at Ollivanders if he's interested. BMG is a good idea too. Goofball is good for Toon Lagoon, look out for the photo ops you guys will have fun with those.

I'd also stop by to have a friendly chat with the knight bus driver and his friend the shrunken head.

One of my favorites is also watching ye old coin mint in the lost continent if you have the time. They are a funny bunch and I like the chance to get something unique to the park. It's two sided so you'll pick two symbols to go on your coin. There's 3 levels that get more expensive to choose from. They also have a sheet to tell you what each symbol means so it's really personalized. One side of my coin is the Islands of adventure logo, it's one of my favorite souvenirs from Universal of all time.

Angai covered all my bases! We just went for my friend graduating from PTA school and the knight bus was one of the only ones that said anything. We didn't get buttons or anything though just enjoyed the parks. You can always pull a waitstaff person aside and ask them to send out a desert or something special for him. I wonder if the foodtruck people would do anything fun? I know they choose a guest to help them out with their skit. The construction guys also pick someone to help them out... Ive only ever seen kids picked.

Thank you all so much! I think we will definitely have to talk to the Knight Bus driver, and we'll get him a button. He can get his own wand, though. Kid normally has more money than I do. :joker:
