Okay, so we went again yesterday, lol, and yes we were there Tuesday too.:rotfl2: What can I say, we live just up the fwy from DL, have AP's and free parking. So,yes we are there way to much for our own good.
Now that being said, last night was a Grad Nite. So, the park closed promptly at 9. The stores were closed, all of them. CLOSED GET OUT! GLAD YOU HAD FUN GO HOME! :rotfl: It was strange. So, does anyone know what nights the Grad Nites are?
I remember going to Grad Nite and had a great time!
Iwould just like to know, so I can avoid those nights so I can stay longer, yep selfish .::yes::
Oh, by the by, the 3 heads from the country bear jamboree heads in the Pooh ride, CONFIRMED!lol. I love saying that:hyper:
Oh, this is creepy. we were sitting by the Piano by the Coca cola hot dog place, and this poor family , well their little baby couldnt have been more than a year old, was choking!! he looked passed out, a few people tried to clear the airway, and remove the debris, and the DL CM was on the walkie talkie the whole time getting the first aid ready, but NOTHING! was working, the baby was still choking, all of a sudden a man who looked like a marine or a fire fighter came out of no where and saved the day but man, it was very scary. The baby FINALLY was breathing and functioning again, they whisked the baby off to first aid. that poor family. it made me think, well, I didnt know what to do. sooooo, lets all make a pact right now, we go to the red cross and learn cpr and how to clear an airway on a choking victim.
okay, take a minute.....
alright, also yesterday, we were walking out of Adventureland, and right by the back wall of the tiki room there was this new thing. (I felt like one of the apes in 2001 a space oddessy) it was a big gray box that said Indiana Jones summer of ...... something. Anyone else see it? What is that box? whats in it? shrunken heads, treasure, candy?
:hyper:
Oh, so heres another question, while standing in line for the Pooh ride, over head are some train tracks, that isnt the same train as on Main street is it? It looked different. Where does that train go? where do you catch it?
Oh and one more thing, if you stand in front of the candy store, YES CONFIRMED::yes:: , they do pump out sugar smelling air out of the vent and YES CONFIRMED, it works!! It smells soooo good, I kind of go insane , but then I come back to reality while eating my new favorite, marshmallow fudge.
Alright , thats all Ive got, hope everyone has a wonderful Disney Day!:wizard:

Thank you very much! This is part of why I just love the boards! Its like having your own magic Genie!

Isn't it great to be able to just pop over there? Love it

How scary! I'm glad he could help the baby.

It wasn't the photo op was it? Did it look like a big ball thing in the center of it?

Yes it's the same train. When Disneyland was first built, Walt wanted to close off the outside world, so they built this berm around the perimeter of the park. They put the railroad on top of the berm. You can get the train at Main Street, New Orleans Square, Toontown entrance, and Tomorrowland. There is a diorama between Tomorrowland and Main Street that depicts the Grand Canyon & then back in the Primeval World with dinosaurs. It takes around 20 minutes to go around the park, so if you need a rest, this is a nice way to do so.

You, too!

That's the same train that you catch at Main Street! If you board at New Orleans, it will go that way through Splash Mountain and the next depot will be at Toontown!

That's scary about the baby! I took CPR to be a Teacher's Aide, it's a very good skill to know!

Those air vents are evil I tell you, pure evil!

Yes, it did have a big ball thing in the center. Huh! photo op, alright! that makes sense!

And wow, the same train, I have been on the train many times. but I just dont remember the part near Splash Mountain, but I must say , it is nice to have DL amnesia!:lmao: I do love that train, it just looked different last night, instead of regular cars, it had blue and white awnings on it. or, it was all the same cars, and I have total recall of all things imaginary!:rotfl2: anyhoo, I will actually pay attention next time I go!

We plan on avoiding Grad night next week (Thursday) by heading over to Universal Studios for the day. Unfortunately come to find out they close at 6pm! Geesh! LOL Guess we could get back early for 3 hours more of DL, and then get kicked out promptly at 9pm. :)

That's very scary about the baby. Glad that guy came out of no where to save them! I think it's good for everyone to learn CPR. I've taken the classes that included babies, it's good to know!

The Country bear heads are cool to see huh? I always have to look at them, every time we ride! :)

just FYI--if you leave Universal at 6 p.m., you probably won't be back at DL for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Traffic is awful that time of day. I would plan for a leisurely dinner in the Universal area and then make your way back to Anaheim.

Yikes about the baby!! I'm glad that guy was there!! WOW!

Corpse Bride, I'm jealous that you get to go so much. You're very lucky!! :)

You probably don't remember the train thru Critter Country because you are busy looking into the Splash Mountain Ride, and then it seems like just trees and some water views before Toontown Station. The bridge over CC goes by pretty quick! :)

Looks like I have to do the train again too! Such a poor memory!

Oh I know! Not to mention with them opening at 10 am, we'll hit all the morning traffic, even if we leave at 9 am! Gonna be a fun day of sitting in traffic!
