grabbing a fastpass before 930 KTTK?

Is there time if Im at MK before rope drop to get a FP before the 930 KTTK tour which I believe starts meeting at 915? where would you grab that FP? Distancewise would I make it to BTMR and back to front of park or should I try to get to Buzz?

It really depends on what time of the year you are going becuase at that early morning hour, fast pass might not be open yet. Sometimes they don't start fast passes until quite a line has formed. It all depends.

I plan on doing this same thing except we are doing the 8:30 a.m. tour in April. You could also grap a fastpass during the lunch break. I have heard that there are bathroom and rest breaks, you could also grap one during one of those.

I think you would have time if you are there before park opening and get into the gate right away. We did the Family Magic Tour at 10 and they told us to meet at 9:45 but all we really did was give our name, get a name tag and wait for everyone to get there. I think they tell you to get there early so they aren't waiting for people who are running late to start the tour.

I don't think you would have any problem walking down and back in that time frame. I do like TAKitty's idea about grabing one during a break. Also fast passes are honored any time during the day they are issued, even after the stated time period has expired. A CM told us about this in January and we did it at all the parks, all week long without a problem. It really saved us busting to get back to a ride before the FP expired.
