Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

I love the Mickey Head Hanger, I hope you gets lots of cool messages :thumbsup2

Also love the Dis card, have you had people from the Dis come up to you before when you have had the LGMH?

I hope I get lots of messages too! :wizard:

I have had a few people comment on the LGMH. A lot of times it was husband's whispering to wives and pointing. :lmao: I imagined that they said "hey, there's someone from your Disney board." :rolleyes1

Wow! What great things you have gotten done!! What type of mister is that? I am eyeing one that is a little different but I would love to compare yours to the one I had chosen already. :goodvibes

I want to make a mickey head for my bags. :thumbsup2

Okay...I have a LOT of catching up to do. But I'm here now and following along. :)

Love the nails!!!! And the Mickey Heads are such a great idea! I hope you get a lot of cool messages!

Thanks, and me too! I hope I get a better response this year. :goodvibes

Honestly, I have had the mister for so long that I don't remember where I got it from. :sad2: It doesn't have any real markings on it. I think I got it at Walgreens. I've had it for a few years now. What kind are you looking at?

I have to go to Home Depot and get a few more LGMH's. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:lmao:

Yay, you found me! I have catching up on your PTR too. Looks like we will be there at the same time again this year. Maybe this time we can meet and say hi!

We're going to go back to Maya again. Love that place. The food is awesome. :wizard:

I have a lot of catching up to do on yours. I hope we can all hook up while there. Do you know in our eight (soon to be nine) stays at CSR we have never eaten at the Maya Grill for dinner? We ate there once for breakfast and that's been it. We won't get there this trip because it is a short one...but we will do it one of these days.

OMG, the food there is devine!!! Joe and I were so happy with Maya! He had it on his must do this year!

What's breakfast like there?

I really want to try and see if we can meet up and at least say hi. Let me know if any of our park days cross. If not, maybe DTD or something?

I'm curious what you use the laminated CM thank you cards for. Like in what kind of situation would you give them to someone. Do they say something like "thanks for a job well-done" or something? Just curious...

I think I found the one you have on Amazon but the one I have been eyeing is the Misty Mate. :goodvibes

I feel so guilty for taking those darn mickey heads. I know I just need to get over it already. :rotfl:

I include them in our tip envelopes to mousekeeping and at our TS meals. Last year several CM's came back to the tables and thanked me and said they really appreciated it. I was reading a thread too where CM's were saying that they sometimes feel like they never hear "thank you" since it's their "job." I figured what the heck? Why not say thanks! The cards have different themes and depending on the theme the phrase changes too. For example, one that has Cinderella dancing with her prince says "we had a magical time. thank you so much" and one that has Mickey says "oh boy, you were great."

I will check out Amazon. My mom could use one too.

I know, I do too. I only take a couple at a time but honestly, half the time when I go there, they don't have them! :scared1: Apparently, there are a lot of Dis'ers that live near me.

Lol, its funny because its the husbands doing the whispering :rotfl:

Okay...I'm all caught up.

We did breakfast twice while it was a buffet. They've now changed an an ala cart menu and I'm thinking we'll give it a shot (we have breakfast ressies three of our four days and we were just going to eat in the room; but maybe we'll do Maya instead).

I love your scrapbooks...they are adorable.

It's really funny to see. I keep saying that the guys just pretend to not be interested but they can sure spot a DISer a mile away! :lmao::lmao:

i'm curious to hear about breakfast at Maya.

Thanks. I love to scrap and I save every little do-dad and scrap that I can get my hands on at Disney. :rolleyes1

Hey girls, we have a ressie at Maya Grill for breakfast on our Universal Orlando day! :scared1: Yeah, I know! But I will let you know how the "new" Maya breakfast is! We are really looking forward to it!:woohoo:

I've heard that free dining is pretty limited this year. I heard the same thing last year though so I wonder, are they really cutting back? Which resorts do you think it is harder to get free dining at?

From what I've heard, Port Orleans French Quarter because of its popularity and small size, and Pop Century, because of its popularity and price-point tend to fill up first with any limited promotion. I'm sure your bro didn't have any trouble getting it, did he?

I LOVE your binder! Wow, you do good work, girl! I'm going to steal some of your ideas. I've been doing the little laminated daily cards thing too - works great!

:goodvibes  How sweet you are!! I agree that too many people aren't thanked because others think "they're just doing their job". Well, how many times have we experienced (or done it ourselves! :scared1: ) that someone DIDN'T do their job? Then just think of how much better it is that someone DID their job.

It was also the way I was raised, "please" and "thank you" for EVERYTHING. Plus, the longer I live, the more I realize that I have soooo much to be grateful for. :cloud9: I try to take less and less for granted.

:offtopic:

Okay, didn't mean to get on my (one of my many) soapbox! But the lack of gratitude in society is a big issue with me.

ANYWAY-we're talking about you planning for your trip!!

So, what is your day count at?

My brother was able to get free dining when he called. He called the first day it was offered to the public. I wonder how many rooms are left?

Thanks. I do a binder for each trip. I keep them all together on a shelf and sometimes I go back to them when I plan our next trip.

I think we're at 4 months and 1 day out. I didn't look at my ticker today. I have to get my rear end moving and start actually doing our touring plans for each day.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY :flower3:

Thanks. We just grilled out for mom and now she's watching Avatar with Joe and my sister and nephew.

I'm here I'm here!! Of course I have a lot to catch up on! I can't wait to read all about this trip! But I wanted you to know I'm along for the ride WOOT!!!
