GOTG Virtual Queue and LL does it matter which one you ride first?

We purchased a LL for GOTG and were also able to get a boarding group via the virtual queue. Will be arriving after our boarding group will have been called. In the past, we have been able to ride even after our VQ boarding group has expired. Assuming we will be able to do that again today, does it matter whether we use our LL first and then try to ride with the expired boarding group, or should we try to ride with the regular virtual queue line first and then do the LL? Thanks for any info.

I would anticipate if you tap into the VQ tap point it will use your VQ BG. If you tap into the LLSP tap it will use that.

If it were me I would use the VQ first as that will have a longer wait time once you enter the queue.

I can't remember where now, but someone wrote that the CMs at the VQ entrance made them use their LL before going in the VQ line. I know they can see something because I scanned in by mistake once at the VQ entrance when all I had was an LL and they directed me to the LL entrance without even asking me if I had an LL.

Thanks so much for the info! When we went the cast member advised us to ride the LL first and then we could do the virtual queue later on. Wanted to post the outcome in case anyone else had the same question. Thanks again.

They probably want you to use your LL first because that is paid. They don't guarantee a ride for the VQ.
