Hey all, it was suggested I start a new thread and others may join in with what rates they get.

I just got off the phone with CM with guaranteed rates for 2009. They did not have season rate information , so I picked dates around our usual time frame.

PO Riverside standard room for 2 adults and 1 12yo.

Wednesday March 19, 2009 $195 a night including taxes $219.38
Wednesday April 22, 2009 $195 a night including taxes $219.38
Thursday April 9, 2009 (Easter falls on the 12th) $205 without taxes.

Hope this info helps and maybe other folks will share what they getting as rates.

Happy Planning!

Pop Century Jan 15-19th Standard Rm 2 adults 402.75 This is Thurs thru Mon over MLK

Contemporary Tower Bay Lake View is $438.75/night during value season dates of 1/30-2/7. Looks to be a $10 raise in rates, the above amount minus tax comes out to $390/night, rates for 2008 without tax during value season were $380/night.

No packages yet, just the 2009 prices for room-only reservations were available.

Pop Standard Rm 2 Adults Jan 22-26 359.00

Hi!

How were you able to get this information? I spoke to 2 different CMs who told me the room only rates are not out by now  TIA

Hi~
Anyone know the daily rate for Values during Summer Season?? My AAA agent let me know that today's release was "room only" and that it would still be Sunday before we can book packages. I would still love to know my daily rate for Pop Century for our June trip!! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!!
Carla

I agree entirely with you, I believe that without a huge discount we will be staying off site next year. 200+ a night for a moderate resort with the added increase in ticket and meal plan is just not looking very good here:confused3

My guess is it's dependent on the CM you get and how experienced they are with the system...I know the CM I talked with seemed pretty familiar with both WDW (she said she had tried the new Wave restaurant at the Contemp and it was great) as well as exactly what was vs what was not available yet regarding 2009 stuff (room only rates available, packages and AAA rates not available).

OK got more info: Value season dates roughly 1/1-2/12 a value resort rate of $82.00 per night, Moderate rate $149.00 per night.

Peak season from 2/13 - God knows when as the dates into April thorughout March were all the higher rate of 125 for a value resort and 195 for a moderate.

Please note these were weekdays and no weekend rates.

I am paying 174/night for waterview at a moderate - $25 more than a standard? That can't be right at all. Here are my details:
(Before taxes)
Hotel
Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter
Water View (OD)
Quantity
Rate per Room/per Night (plus tax)

5 Nights
@
$174.00/nt

Total with taxes 978.75. OUCH.

Last year, same room/time was 165/night - so its gone up $9 a night. I guess that is about right, but just seemed like sticker shock.

Just adding - I noticed that if I go in through the UK site to book a room, it comes up for my dates as a total of $425 pounds, which is $840 USD. I am being way overcharged! I might book it on the UK site. LOL

According to the CM I got the rate of 149 before taxes for a moderate DURING the week. That considered, is it possible you have weekend rates tied in there. You could call and ask the specific price for each night.

Just called to change our spring reservations and was surprised when the CM told me the real rates were out. Guess what -- they are WAY over the ones I used to hold the dates (as in from $35 - $61 more per night)!!! Guess we need to rethink the trip altogether unless AAA gets us a good room discount.

Nothing up on their website yet. Based on what everyone is getting over the phones, the rates seem to be $10 higher per night.

Yes Nik's Mom, it does look like $10 more per night. My AAA agent emailed me back this evening and Pop Century is $131.87 w/tax per night for our trip June 3rd-12th which is in the "summer" season. I do have to say I don't know if that is the Sun-Thur rate or the Fri-Sat rate. I hope it's the Fri-Sat rate because it seems a little high to me.
