Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Love your MGM pics!

You just know I'm going to be asking some stranger for someone to take a picture of me and Bo on my trip now!

Hidden Kermit? Do tell!

Hidden Kermit in the Star Tours queue The picture doesn't quite do it justice. I think it looks more like Kermit in person.

There may be a special outfit! Which reminds me about something I need to include in the next update...:rolleyes1

Oooh...can't wait! I forget... are you dining in France? If so she should wear her outfit from the April in Paris luncheon. This is a whole new dimension to your TR... what will Chelsea wear?!? :)

Oh, do you know which podcast it was? We would love to listen to it! We have really enjoyed the books -- there was a lot of argument as to who would read the second one first when it arrived in the mail last year. I wish they would do a tour -- that would be super neat!

WDW Radio Show episode #114 April 12th
And that reminds me, the author said to stay tuned to his website b/c he would have a "BIG" announcement about Kingdom Keepers in the next few weeks!

Hi, just getting caught up again, your report is always so entertaining. Just when I thought I was organized for Disney I see your binders and remind myself I'm actually "low key", if I could just convince Tim of that ;) Glad everything is coming together for you guys, you are getting SO close!

Thank you! Connor did end up riding and playing again later in the day with his daddy. He loved it!

It's those multiple drops, Brook, that scare me. I don't like not knowing how many times I am going to be dropped.

You really should try Haunted Mansion -- it's not the least bit scary -- just campy in a Disney way -- it is quite funny. Have you youtubed it to see if you think you could handle it?

Ah, that's right! Now I recall from your TR that he went back and played.

I understand about the multiple drops thing-and you really, really have NO clue what it's going to do each time you ride. In ways I would prefer just one big top to bottom drop.

I haven't YouTubed it yet, I keep meaning to but forgetting. I keep telling myself that it won't be scary, but I'm a scaredy cat! I practically hold my breath until the drops on ToT. The spooky stuff just gets me :scared1: I'll YouTube it before my trip to help with the decision...

I love that you used the word "campy". :rotfl2: It's a Southern word and reminds me of my old Okie friends! :cutie:

Please, please try ToT. I was skeered out of my wits before my then 7 year-old made me do it and now it's one of my faves. I love, love it. I bet you will too. Is Star Tours fun? Is seeing Darth Vadar pretty easy? My son is just becoming interest in Star Wars so I really want to let him do some cool things in November. I think he'd love it. Great update! Love all of the fun pictures. :)

I felt the same way about the desk and pen- I loved Kingdom keepers! I really need to get the 2nd one!

Ahh! I have the book and the audiobook-had no idea there was a second!!!! I wasn't all thrilled with the story(sorta could scare the begeebees out of non Disney-fied kids- but oh how we enjoyed it for all those little background things they hide so well!

We'll be listening to the podcast!

Lori

I always tear up at the movie montage at the end of The Great Movie Ride too - even though I'm kind of over the rest of the ride now. :rolleyes1

I went to the movies yesterday and took a picture for you. ;)

Those pictures of the kids are TOO CUTE!!

I think I am going to have to start that PTR this week - and I'm now contemplating a long weekend jaunt this fall to take advantage of the free dining so I'll keep you posted about that! :scared:

What a wonderful DHS update! :goodvibes

I love the pictures of Chelsea with the fur coat, she just looks adorable and super happy in all of the pictures.

I have to admit that I am really looking forward to Charles stories from this trip. There is bond to be a benadryl worthy story. I mean, really, a year later and I am still wondering who takes benadryl at Disney World. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Connor and his fit at TSM, what classic Disney World! I still admire that he didn't play the entire time. I rode it and I don't think at my maddest that I could have not played.

Thank you! Yes, Chelsea takes after her mom -- she is always super happy at Disney -- aside from the stray fit from time to time!

Charles always provides great Disney stories! :rotfl: Back in 2004, he decided he had enough of family time and actually went off-site and ended up lost!:laughing: He's not allowed off-site anymore. ;)

When Connor decides not to do something, he has a stubborn streak a mile wide!

I can't wait for ToT, RnRC, TSM of course, and the LMA Stunt Show. :cool1:

Not too much longer for you -- four days until you are there!

That sounds so cool! I want pictures. :rotfl:

I will definitely take photos! :thumbsup2

Love your MGM pics!

Thanks!

Oh, yes, please take a photo with Bo -- then I can add it to Chelsea's scrapbook!

Neat! I never would have recognized him as Kermit!

:rotfl2: That would be a perfect addition!

Thank you! I can't wait to listen to it! Maybe tonight I can lay claim to one of the computers!

Hi, Lesley! Thank you so much! I keep trying to be "low key" but then my OCD kicks in! 46 days for us!

See, a random number of drops makes me twitch just thinking about it!

If you can handle the preshow stuff at ToT, you can definitely handle HM!

I never knew "campy" was Southern! :goodvibes

I will try to ride ToT, but I have been saying that for about three trips now! :rotfl:

Star Tours is a lot of fun -- it's a motion simulator so it is a different kind of ride than the traditional ones! You should check out the Jedi Training Academy, also, if your son is into Star Wars. We have only seen Darth Vader out for meet and greets at Star Wars Weekends, but he might be around after the Jedi Training Academy.

Oh, yes, there is a second -- you must read it to get the continuing story -- lots of it takes place at Animal Kingdom which was neat.

I always tear up at the movie montage at the end of The Great Movie Ride too - even though I'm kind of over the rest of the ride now. :rolleyes1

I went to the movies yesterday and took a picture for you. ;)

I think some things have changed on the GMR as time goes on -- I remember the alien being much more terrifying when I was younger.

ANUBIS!!! What a neat statue! Thanks, Carissa!

So, I have to ask -- what movie did you go see?

Everytime I am away for a few days, I seem to miss all the fun! ;) Great DHS update!

Thanks, Courtney!

Thank you, Katie!

A fall weekend??? Now, you must start your PTR! I insist!

I loved all the pics! Seeing people TR's or pictures from previous trips-always makes me soo excited.. and I love it- because for a brief second I am there.. in disney world.. just experiencing it with you. Its great! So thanks for those! I think for the 20 days til disney for me.. I am going to post some pics from our my DH and I's first trip together in 2005. But most of the good pics aren't on the computer.. or CD.. hmm. idk.
Anyways,
I do have to say Bo is pretty nice looking for a wooden man! I would definitely buy a coke from him!! hehe ;) So at least she has good taste! I mean granted he's no Jack Sparrow.. but he's pretty close! :rotfl:

This year, my DH and I will be there during the star wars weekends.. the first weekend.. which is prob. a bad thing.. but we don't really get into star wars- so we will g o there for a few pics.. but thats about it! I'm excited though- I told him I want to take a picture with "darth vader and the gold robot" he said "you mean C3PO?".. hehe whatever.. the gold robot works for me! hehe:laughing:

I also love the gift shops.. DH on the other hand.. well.. he can only take so much. So sometimes I'll say go buy a drink and sit in the shade and I'll go browse. We usually have a day or time for shopping.. and he can handle that.. but he doesn't really get into "shops" presay.. last time we went I made him go into like every store.. and finally by the end of the trip he said "I don't know why you have to go in here, they all have the same mickey mouse stuff" hehehe it was funny. :cutie:

Just practice a few times before you go.
Go out on your roof and jump off. :scared1:
Just before you hit the ground, STOP, and jerk yourself back to the top. :scared:
Do that about four times, and you've got Tower of Terror!
The ride is way more exciting than the gift shop. ;)

I adore Paul Rudd so I am happy to hear it was good! We never seem to be able to get to the movies unless it is a fmaily friendly movie, so it will be a rental for sure.

I usually go alone. It's my time to get away by myself for a while. ;) But, I went with my friend who was visiting to see this one.

Too funny! Actually, the themeing of the hotel scares me more than the drops. They are just fun. So smooth. Way better than a free fall ride at 6 flags.
