Looks like you had a great New Years Eve! That's quite a fondue spread. I have another friend who always fondues. I may have to try that next year-- it looks so yummy.
It is yummy! You can also do chicken, shrimp, veggies. We always do just beef with a side salad and baked potatoes.
And Clue! How I used to love that game. I may have to see if my parents still have that at their house.
We love Clue at our house and have several variations including the Haunted Mansion Clue. Connor loves mysteries -- LOVES them, so he is all into Clue. I think he gets it from me because I am the same way.
And lastly Nala.... still absolutely adorable. Cutest thing I've ever seen. Her with her chin on the counter, cuddled up w/ her buddy, snuggled on the sofa.

What a lucky girl you rescued her!
Don't let all the cute pictures fool you -- she is spoiled rotten and a handful.

She loves nipping at everyone's hair and biting toes the best.
the fondue looks yummy!!
Can I come over next year?
The pic of Connor with the hat his too funny! What a character!!
Nala is just precious!
Come next year -- your family would be a blast to hang out with and I just know that Bailie and Chelsea would get along as well as your boys and Connor!
Yay! Fonduing looks like so much fun! Connor looked adorable in that hat! Chelsea looked very intense while she was eating! Nala is so precious!
Chelsea was bound and determined to outeat her daddy, but that did not happen.
It looks like you had a great time. Nala is just adorable.
My brother would appreciate the meat. He loves the commercial for some pizza place where the guy calls himself a "meatatarian". That's what we call him now too.
Thank you!

about your brother being a meatatarian -- my family definitely fits that bill -- Connor used to say that if he was a dinosaur he would be a meat-eating one.
We did fondue at my in-laws on New Year's Eve. There was beef, but also a cheese fondue to dip bread in - yummm!
Look at the belly on Nala! Love it!
Mmmm, your fondue sounds good, too!
Nala is living the good life for sure.
Sounds like a wonderful party you guys had. I have to admit, I was asleep by 11:15 New Years Eve.

Nala is just precious. I remember when my puppies were that little.

Good times. The kids look like they're having tons of fun. I hope this year turns out to be a great one for you and everyone else here on the DIS.
I wanted to be asleep at 11:15 -- it was all I could do to stay awake and toast everyone.
I hope you have a fabulous year, too!
You really should get him an agent!
He is my character actor.

When he had his little friend over on Friday they played Naruto the whole time and he stayed in character for seven hours.
Your fondue evening looks like a lot of fun! I should try something like that. As always, Chelsea & Connor are just too cute. I can't get over how much older Chelsea looks compared from last summer, she just looks more mature, you know?
Nala is simply adorable!
Thanks! Yes, Chelsea is changing so much this year -- it's those middle school years -- they mature so much -- my nephew is a year older than Chelsea and I noticed at Christmas how much he had changed just since Thanksgiving.
Your NYE looked like fun and I love fondue! Nala is too cute!
Thank you! We love fonduing.
This is so cute! Nala looks like she has made herself right at home!
If by making herself at home you mean she is spoiled rotten and squeaks and cries if she wants attention until she gets it, then, yes, she has made herself right at home.
We had to go run errands yesterday, so we left her in her room for about two and a half hours, when we got home she was crying and continued to cry for about twenty minutes afterwards while I held her and consoled her. I don't know how she will cope with us going back to school tomorrow.
