Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Sounds like a wonderful party you guys had. I have to admit, I was asleep by 11:15 New Years Eve. :rotfl: Nala is just precious. I remember when my puppies were that little. :goodvibes Good times. The kids look like they're having tons of fun. I hope this year turns out to be a great one for you and everyone else here on the DIS.

You really should get him an agent!

Your fondue evening looks like a lot of fun! I should try something like that. As always, Chelsea & Connor are just too cute. I can't get over how much older Chelsea looks compared from last summer, she just looks more mature, you know?
Nala is simply adorable! :cutie:

Fondue, what a great idea! Looks like it was a fun night! Happy New Year!

What a fun NYE! There's a fondue restaurant out west on the island a little more that I heard of that I really want to try. It looks so yummy (except that I don't eat beef but it looks like your family loves it!) What a cool tradition. Chelsea is looking so grown up! The difference between your last TR and now is crazy. And Connor is adorableeee this picture is too funny!

And Nala is just precious, she is so much smaller than Bella in this one

Looks like a great night was had by all!

Happy belated New Year!

The fondue looks sooo good. I love the picture of Nala peering over the table!! I showed that picture to my parents and they loved her little face. :cutie: And the pictures of Connor in the hat cracked me up.

Love the Fondue Night!!! We do a fondue night every year with a group of our best friends around Valentine's Day each year---we do three courses: a cheese appetizer round, the meat/chicken/shrimp and veggies round, and then the chocolate "Oh My God" dessert round. It is heavenly and we all look SO forward to it each year. We all have some fondue pots, so we bring them over, get them cooking and eat like there is no tomorrow! It is so much fun! I will have to take some pics of it for you this year!

What a great time! Kids and a puppy, cute as always!:goodvibes

Looks like you had a great New Years Eve! That's quite a fondue spread. I have another friend who always fondues. I may have to try that next year-- it looks so yummy.

It is yummy! You can also do chicken, shrimp, veggies. We always do just beef with a side salad and baked potatoes.

And Clue! How I used to love that game. I may have to see if my parents still have that at their house. :rolleyes1

We love Clue at our house and have several variations including the Haunted Mansion Clue. Connor loves mysteries -- LOVES them, so he is all into Clue. I think he gets it from me because I am the same way.

And lastly Nala.... still absolutely adorable. Cutest thing I've ever seen. Her with her chin on the counter, cuddled up w/ her buddy, snuggled on the sofa. :cloud9: What a lucky girl you rescued her! :goodvibes

Don't let all the cute pictures fool you -- she is spoiled rotten and a handful. ;) She loves nipping at everyone's hair and biting toes the best.

the fondue looks yummy!!
Can I come over next year?

The pic of Connor with the hat his too funny! What a character!!

Nala is just precious!

Come next year -- your family would be a blast to hang out with and I just know that Bailie and Chelsea would get along as well as your boys and Connor!

Yay! Fonduing looks like so much fun! Connor looked adorable in that hat! Chelsea looked very intense while she was eating! Nala is so precious!:goodvibes

Chelsea was bound and determined to outeat her daddy, but that did not happen.

It looks like you had a great time. Nala is just adorable.

My brother would appreciate the meat. He loves the commercial for some pizza place where the guy calls himself a "meatatarian". That's what we call him now too.

Thank you! :rotfl: about your brother being a meatatarian -- my family definitely fits that bill -- Connor used to say that if he was a dinosaur he would be a meat-eating one.

We did fondue at my in-laws on New Year's Eve. There was beef, but also a cheese fondue to dip bread in - yummm!

Look at the belly on Nala! Love it! :)

Mmmm, your fondue sounds good, too!

Nala is living the good life for sure. ;)

I wanted to be asleep at 11:15 -- it was all I could do to stay awake and toast everyone.

I hope you have a fabulous year, too!

He is my character actor. :rotfl: When he had his little friend over on Friday they played Naruto the whole time and he stayed in character for seven hours. :rotfl:

Nala is simply adorable! :cutie:

Thanks! Yes, Chelsea is changing so much this year -- it's those middle school years -- they mature so much -- my nephew is a year older than Chelsea and I noticed at Christmas how much he had changed just since Thanksgiving.

Your NYE looked like fun and I love fondue! Nala is too cute!

Thank you! We love fonduing.

This is so cute! Nala looks like she has made herself right at home!

If by making herself at home you mean she is spoiled rotten and squeaks and cries if she wants attention until she gets it, then, yes, she has made herself right at home. :goodvibes

We had to go run errands yesterday, so we left her in her room for about two and a half hours, when we got home she was crying and continued to cry for about twenty minutes afterwards while I held her and consoled her. I don't know how she will cope with us going back to school tomorrow.

Fondue, what a great idea! Looks like it was a fun night! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of you!!!

Looks like a great night was had by all!

There is a great restaurant here in Atlanta called Dante's Down the Hatch -- it is all themed like a ship and there is live jazz music that plays -- the fondue is out of this world.

It's hard to believe that Nala will one day be the same size as Bella!

Happy belated New Year!

Happy New Year to you as well!

We are holding her as much as we can now because we know one day soon she will be too big. Although with Bella, she thinks she is still small enough to be a lapdog and crawls into our laps if we are sitting on the couch.

That does sound like so much fun! Defininitely take photos and share them with us!

What a great time! Kids and a puppy, cute as always!:goodvibes

Thank you!

:rotfl2:
She looks so grown up!

I love when our cats sleep that way too. :goodvibes

She has changed a lot, hasn't she? I can't wait until June when she can pose with Bo and we can compare the two photos. :rotfl:

Nala loves Bella and we are so lucky that Bella loves Nala. She even lets her chew on her ears and nip her tail.

Last year I got the Vera Bradley hipster for my park bag. I loved it because I could sling it across my body and I could keep it on during those rides like Everest, BTMRR, etc. where bags always pose a dilemma.

My only problem was that it wasn't quite big enough for everything I typically carry into the parks. Charles has diabetes so we always have to take his blood sugar meter. Then there is my wallet and other things. In June I ended up having to switch to a little Nike backpack that would fit everything.

For Christmas this year I got the new Vera Bradley hipster in Caffe Latte. It is a little bigger so hopefully it will fit everything.

I took lots of photos (with my new camera ;) ) comparing the new one to the old one.

I can't wait to wear it in the parks in June!

You are so cute with your new hipster!! It looks perfect. I just love Vera. :lovestruc I didn't know there was a new Hipster design... hmmm

Oh and I like the sparkles on your sun glasses... very glam! :thumbsup2

Your trip is going to be here before you know it!!!

You are so adorable posing with your VB's! :cutie:

It really does look a lot bigger than the old style. The one I just bought is the old style but it's good to know that the next one I buy  will be a little more roomy!

I love your new hipster! It's so cute I love that pattern and thats great that its bigger for all your things. I think mine is the old, smaller style but like you said I know it will be good for the parks. It looks great! :goodvibes

Thanks! I really should have touched up my make-up and smoothed my hair, but oh well. I want to get a smaller wallet in the same pattern before the trip.

If it has rhinestones, I naturally gravitate towards it -- when I saw those sunglasses I knew I had to have them. :rotfl:

I hope so -- it's another rainy day here and I am dreaming of Stormalong Bay in the sunshine.

Thanks! I really contemplated doing the whole headless shot a la TK, but decided to just post as is.

The older style would have been perfect for me if I didn't have to carry other people's stuff. I am hoping that with a smaller wallet everything will fit nicely -- meters, wallet, camera, glow sticks, etc.

Thank you! One of my goals this trip is to send purchases back to the resort. I have never done that, and I am always scared that I will never see any of it again (I am weird, I know).

I love the VB hipster. I carry it as my everyday purse because I can sling it over my body to chase to little ones. I'm amazed at how much I can stuff in it! Hopefully it will work for you!

If it makes you feel any better, I've never had any issues. And I've used this, ahem, a lot. :rolleyes1
