Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

I have finally finished! :cool1: I love your PTR. I will be at WDW for my birthday on May 22-29. It is our first stay on site thanks to the 4/3 deal. Have a great night.

Thank you!!! You will love staying onsite! Make sure you head over to Lady Lallie's PTR -- her May dates are almost the same as yours.

This is a really cute story. Mine is a little similar but didn't last as long.. and actually as soon as we got there the first time... hes loved it ever since.. I'm glad he is changing!! hehe

Wow! Your DH had a fast conversion! You know that new Disney video that you can personalize? The kids and I made one for Charles and he grinned the whole time he was watching it.

Oh those elves, always causing trouble! I can't believe they even followed Chelsea and Connor to their grandmother's house! :rotfl2:

I was so glad that they had fun somewhere else for the night. :lmao:

Oooh! I would make a mess like that for Life cereal too! It is my fave!:cool1: LOVE the gingerbread house, looks so festive! I am glad you got to ship those elves off for a night, so you could have a peaceful nights sleep!:thumbsup2

We love Life cereal, too. Apparently our elves love it, too. Their time with us is almost ending -- just four more nights until Christmas Eve.

Hey Jackie, how are you!!!!?????

Gonna check up on you every so often! I am hoping for a Sept 2009 trip to try free DDP(if offered!)-it's the only way I'll be tempted to get it ever again- gotta try it out first! And free is good for me!

IF we are able to go(depends on DH's job status), we'll book soon as free DDP is offered.

Maybe I'll start a "Impossibly POSSIBLE PTR"! (due to the above in parentheses!) I can dream, I can plan, I can plan our dream! My girls are quite them same in thier anticipation and excitement/enthusiasm of all things Disney. I LOVE brainwashing my children!!!

Lori

Hi, Lori!!! How are you??? I have missed you! I am so glad you found my PTR. Are you still going on a cruise? I definitely think you should start a PTR!

Hiya! Was just checking through my TRs and realized yours was done but I found this link in it! So here I am.... ready to go!

Hi, Kat! I am so glad you came over! How are you? Is NYC getting a lot of snow?

I put the gingerbread house together, but then I let the boys decorate by themselves. Here's the finished product:

My Connor keeps eating bits of the icing off.

Yay for winter break!!!

I love the first week of it...........the second week, not so much!;)

Too cute! I wouldn't be surprised to find out that my Connor has been doing the same thing and not getting caught. ;)

Tell me about it! The second week is when my kids usually start whining and fighting.

Hi, Kat! I am so glad you came over! How are you? Is NYC getting a lot of snow?

Hiya! I'm good, just finished up our holiday party with friends! Good times! We did get a bunch of snow but most of it was gone the same day, there are some piles on the sides of the roads but most of it is gone already- thats one thing I LOVE about living ehre 'cause I hate the snow!

I think I have decided that I love pictures of snow, but I would not like the real thing. :rotfl:

Sunday and Thursdays were tied. If you go vote now you can pick a perfect time to chat for you. disaway.blogspot.com

I will probably just let you guys decide since I don't know if I can commit to a definite time for chats. :goodvibes

They wait till the second week??? Mine are doing that by the second day!

I take it back -- they have been fighting all day today. They just were fighting as they kissed us good night. Grrrr.

So, I had a lapse in judgement today. A rather large lapse in judgement. There is a reason I should never be spontaneous -- it never ends well.

This morning I headed out to Target and Walmart to pick up the last things on my Christmas list and grocery shop.

At Walmart as I walked in, there was a man and his daughter giving away puppies -- cute little lab/boxer mix puppies -- for free.

Now keep in mind that we already have two labs and two cats. We have a full house in regards to animals. No room at this inn.

So, I stop and talk to them. I hold the puppies. I can feel my eyes filling with tears at the thought of these poor puppies who need homes.

I walk away with the words, "I hope you find homes for them before I come back out."

Once inside I wander aimlessly -- I am completely disoriented. I call Charles hoping he will talk some reason into me. Instead he says, "Let's do it." I try very hard to be the smart one, and say, we'll see.

He calls me five more times while I grocery shop to see where I am in the store.

At this point I have decided that if the puppies are still out there when I am finished, then it's meant to be.

They were still there.

We now have a new puppy.

She's the most precious thing you have ever seen in your life, but I can't show you pictures because Chelsea took the digital camera to school on Friday and left it in her locker.

If it was a boy I would have named him Cooper (after the Cooper River in Charleston). If it was a girl, we debated Minnie, Daisy, and Nala.

Nala won. So, now Nala is sleeping in my lap and I am wondering when the honeymoon period will be over and she will start destroying my house.

What was I thinking???

Oh the joy of puppies!!!

They're so cute and loveable untill they eat everything and pee and poop on every surface possible!

Congrats on the new addition to the family! Can't wait to see pictures of Nala. :) We so would love to get a puppy right now, but we need to wait and see if we're moving overseas or not.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Yay for NALA!!!!

I am so living vicariously through you on this one. I love puppies. Dogs. The whole shebang! We live in a pet free apartment complex (long story) so this is going to be awesome! When do you get that camera back? ;)

I know she is a precious puppy, but I'm sure glad it was you who went to Walmart yesterday and not me! Between a cat who believes he's just letting us reside here in his house and an anemic bank account, a puppy would not be a good addition to this family. I will very much enjoy seeing pictures of Nala, though. You were sweet to take her in.

What do all the other furry members of the family think of her as of now?

I wish it were bedtime!!!!

I forget sometimes that you are three hours behind us -- your evening was just starting at that point.

Oh the joy of puppies!!!

They're so cute and loveable untill they eat everything and pee and poop on every surface possible!

I am trying to pretend like none of that will happen -- I was seriously freaking out yesterday about an hour after I got home, remembering all the things that we will have to look forward to for the next couple of years (labs take forever to mature into well-mannered dogs). :scared:

Aww, a cute little Christmas puppy!!! What could be better?

I can't wait to see her!

Well, honestly, I can think of some things that would be better, but the joy on my children's faces everytime they are in the floor with Nala (which is almost constantly) does make me think that maybe my decision wasn't completely insane. Just a little crazy. ;)

Nala is one lucky puppy! I love puppy breath...:goodvibes

I don't think she has been left alone since she was carried into the house.

and, when do you get your camera back?

Not until after the break since we can't get into the school. However, I am really hoping that Santa brings me a new digital camera in three days since everytime I have been asked what I want for Christmas the words "digital camera" have come out of my mouth.

Congrats on the new addition to the family! Can't wait to see pictures of Nala. :) We so would love to get a puppy right now, but we need to wait and see if we're moving overseas or not.

If you move overseas, are you planning on getting one there? Or just waiting until all the traveling is finished?

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

We love puppies and dogs no matter what they are -- I can't imagine not having them underfoot. I will definitely let you live through me vicariously -- and I absolutely can't wait to show everyone pictures of her. She is just too precious.

I know she is a precious puppy, but I'm sure glad it was you who went to Walmart yesterday and not me! If only I had parked on a different row at Walmart...:rolleyes1

There is a tiny (sometimes big) part of me that is regretting the decision to take her in only because I know what puppies are like. But then, I see her prancing across the floor and wagging her tail, and my heart just melts. We are such suckers at our house :).

Our cats just ignore her -- which is typical behavior for them -- they do not deign to notice the dogs in our house. Bella and Tabasco, our dogs, really like her -- almost too much. I find myself hovering a lot when they are playing with her because I am afraid they will get carried away. So far, so good, though. Once she is bigger she will definitely be able to hold her own.

I'm so excited for you! I love puppies! Can't wait for pictures!!!

I really am peeved at Chelsea for forgetting the camera at school, because I am dying to show everyone what a cutie she is.

Congrats on Nala! How are your two other dogs taking to her?
